The College of Industrial Technology (CIT) successfully conducted the SWAP 6 Seminar-Workshop on Academic Practices and Instructional Materials Development, reaffirming its commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and continuous faculty development.

The seminar-workshop was led under the guidance and support of our esteemed Dean, Dr. Vilma M. Santos, together with our ICD Coordinator, Ms. Romelia C. Tagami, whose leadership and dedication continue to inspire quality instruction and innovation in education.

The activity provided faculty members with valuable insights into effective academic practices and the development of quality instructional materials that enhance student learning experiences. Through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional engagement, participants strengthened their competencies in creating learner-centered and outcomes-based instructional resources.

"Reorientation on Policies and Guidelines for Syllabus Preparation and Grading System Implementation, and the Use of Microsoft Teams as the University Learning Management System (LMS) Platform."

The activity aimed to strengthen faculty members' understanding of the University's academic policies and ensure the consistent implementation of standards in syllabus preparation, grading practices, and the effective utilization of Microsoft Teams as the official Learning Management System (LMS).

Through this reorientation, CIT faculty members reaffirmed their commitment to delivering quality instruction, promoting academic excellence, and embracing innovative digital learning technologies that enhance the teaching and learning experience.

The training was facilitated by our competent lecturers from BSINTE, BSCS, and BINDTECH Cluster A Faculty, who shared their expertise and practical experiences in the field of digital technology and design.

This activity provided an opportunity for faculty members and participants to develop their skills in using digital tools, creating visual designs, and applying sublimation printing processes for innovative and entrepreneurial applications.
