Hope, Love, Joy, Peace: Saint Therese Sparkles with the Spirit of Christmas

December - With the year 2025 coming to an end, Saint Therese celebrated their Christmas party with loud and joyful screams. The classroom sparkled with twinkling lights, while the sweet scent of treats drifted through the air, and cheerful chatter and merry tunes transformed every corner into a festive wonderland straight from the pages of a holiday storybook.

Furthermore, a special game for the boys created moments they would cherish forever. In addition, Saint Therese won yet another contest, garnering 1st place in the Christmas Hallway Decorations, turning the corridors into a tapestry of color and delight that seemed to dance with the spirit of the season. Each ornament and ribbon whispered the joy and warmth of Christmas, leaving hearts light and spirits bright. #

Steps of Faith: Walking for a Cause

November — A cold wind brushes against us as we walk from Bypass Road to Saint Catherine School, united in our goal of raising funds for Phase Two of the Diamond Jubilee Building.

As we draw closer, joyous screams fill the air. SSLG and CAT officers greet us with splashes of colored water from water guns and balloons, turning the walk into a playful celebration of community and faith.

Throughout the journey, we pray the Holy Rosary together: Elementary and High School students, Faculty and Staff, Parents, and Alumni—finding strength and unity in every step we take. #

Theresean students had a light-hearted recollection at Van Overbeke Hall guided by Bro. Jomarc Y. Cala, with the theme “Who am I?”

The theme emphasized that God is always present in every part of our lives. The recollection was filled with meaningful spiritual activities that helped the students reflect on their faith and personal identity. Bro. Jomarc also highlighted an important lesson from the recollection: to make Jesus the center of our lives. #

Theresean Basketers showcase excellence in a sizzling match at FL Cup

On October 2025, the Theresean Basketers shone brightly in a thrilling FL Cup match against St. Cecilia, showcasing resilience, determination, and strong teamwork. Despite falling short with a final score of 43–35, the team demonstrated and discipline throughout the game.

Team captain Zaijan Espino delivered an inspiring message, saying “Babawi kami at mas pagbubutihin pa namin ang susunod na laro.” reflecting the commitment to bounce back stronger in their upcoming games. #

October - Blooming with Gratitude: A Tribute to Teachers

Teachers are the guiding lights who lead students toward knowledge and understanding. They are seen walking into classrooms prepared to teach, speaking with confidence and purpose. Yet behind their calm smiles and steady voices are struggles that often go unnoticed. On Teachers’ Day, students find the chance to express a blooming gratitude that goes beyond words.

Moreover, celebrating Teachers’ Day is truly special, as it honors their unwavering determination, hard work, and genuine love for teaching. In line with this, Thereseans prepared a simple yet heartfelt mini celebration for their Ever-gorgeous adviser, Ma’am Mary Jane Dollente, and their dedicated Science teacher, Sir Darwin Paran.

Thereseans expressed their deepest gratitude to the mentors who continue to inspire them, proving that these teachers truly excel not only in their profession but also in the lives they touch. The celebration was built on a bond strengthened by trust, guidance, and shared experiences within the classroom. It serves as a reminder that teaching goes beyond lessons written on the board by leaving lasting marks on hearts and helping shape lives.

October - Science Convocation: Exploring, Understanding, Innovating

Saint Catherine’s School celebrated its Science Convocation on October 6, 2025, at the Fr. Guilbert Van Huisseling Gymnasium with the theme “Spatialize: Understanding Our World, Finding Better Ways.” The event encourages students to better understand the world around them and think of improved ways to address real-life challenges through science.

One of the highlights was the declamation piece delivered by the Grade 10 representatives, which strongly reflected the theme. Among them was Grade 10 Saint Therese representative Rhian Kris Hernandez, who won the declamation and brought pride to her section. Adding to the excitement, Dale Francis Chase Eugenio was also declared champion after his impressive victory in Rainbow Rumble.

The Science Convocation highlighted the vital role of curiosity, innovation, and responsibility in creating a more knowledgeable, responsible, and progressive future. #

Nakasungkit ng mga parangal ang Santa Teresa mula sa iba't ibang patimpalak ng Saint Catherine's School sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, na may temang “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.”

Abala man sa maraming bagay ang mga mag-aaral, hindi ito naging hadlang sa kanilang pag-eensayo para sa mga aktibidad na kanilang lalahukan.

Feast of Saint Therese; A celebration bounded by faith and unity.

As evident aura of excitement amidst the class blossomed, the ever gorgeous adviser of Saint Therese, Ma’am Mj, alongside 40 Theresean achievers, held a mini-celebration in honor of Saint Therese of Lisieux this October 1st, 2025.

Saint Therese of Lisieux, the Patron Saint of Missionaries, is also known for being the Little Flower in Jesus’ garden for she had become a Carmelite nun at the age of 15, and is the subject of a popular autobiography; Story of a Soul.

Her feast marked a successful commemoration among Thereseans, resulting in a content and delightful finish of the 2nd Quarter preliminary exams. ‘25-‘26
