The blood donation drive is happening right now at the BNHS Gymnasium. Your SSLG wants to thank all the students, teachers, parents, and community members who have stepped up to donate today. It takes a lot of courage to sit in that chair, and it’s amazing to see everyone come together. Every single bag of blood donated today will help save a life. You are all real heroes!

A special thanks also goes out to our medical team and volunteers for taking such good care of everyone. If you are still on campus and want to help, come join us at the gym before we close. Don't forget to rest, drink plenty of water, and enjoy your snacks after donating.

Greetings to all leaders, learners, and community members of Balungao National High School! The SSLG calls out to you to become a hero by participating in our Blood Donation Drive!

Just one bag of blood may require a few minutes from you, but it will change someone's life for a lifetime. Let us showcase the essence of community and leadership in action! 💪✨

📋 Are you eligible to donate blood?
Read the Pre-Donation Criteria below:

• 🌡️ Body Temperature: Should be below 37.5°C (99.5°F).

• 🎂 Age: 16–17 y/o: Permitted, but parental consent should be secured.

• 18–59 y/o: All good!

• 60–65 y/o: Only regular donors are qualified
• ⚖️ Weight: At least 110 lbs or 50 kg.

• 🩺 Blood Pressure: Should fall between 90/60 mmHg to 160/100 mmHg.

• 🩸 Female: Donors with menstrual periods are allowed provided that you meet the Hemoglobin (Hgb) requirement!
