CBAA Student Organization - Baliuag University

We proudly congratulate the Baliuag University (BU) research team, led by College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) Dean Dr. Ronaldo R. Calma, with main presenters Ms. Michele G. Mendoza, Program Chair of the Tourism Management Department, and Mr. Mario Alex S.J. Clarin, Program Chair of Business Administration, along with Dr. Joseph O. Cipriano, a BU alumnus.

Their paper, “Tourism’s Impact on Socio-Economic Development: Perspectives of Residents and Business Owners,” won Best Research Presentation at the 20th Global Business Conference of the Association of Training Institutions for Foreign Trade in Asia and the Pacific (ATIFTAP) held on March 21, 2026, in Manila, Philippines.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT

In response to the declaration of a State of National Energy Emergency, Wednesdays will be observed as Off-Campus Days effective April 15, 2026.

📚 All Wednesday classes will shift to ULAP (online) mode.
🏢 Campus offices will remain open Monday to Saturday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, except on Wednesdays.

Students are expected to attend their classes virtually and follow the guidance provided by their respective instructors. Please check your course platforms regularly for updates and important announcements.

Let us all practice the wise use of our time during this global crisis by remaining productive, mindful, and responsible.

With interactive activities and engaging discussions prepared by the CBAA SO and its sub-organizations, visitors were given the chance to explore what life in the CBAA could look like.

The booth was filled with energy, curiosity, and great conversations as aspiring BUddies interacted with CBAA students, faculty members, and student officers. It was a fun and meaningful way to share experiences, answer questions, and give visitors a closer look at the CBAA community.
