We proudly congratulate the research team from the College of Information Technology Education (CITE) on their international research achievement!

The research team is composed of Mrs. Ma. Pinky V. Reyes, who served as the main presenter, and was joined by CITE Dean Clarissa P. Vicente; Mrs. Marisse V. Presilda, CITE Faculty Member; Mrs. Mayline S. Duran, College Secretary; and Dr. Rowell C. Santos, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

Their paper, entitled “CodeCraft: A 2D Adventure Game for Python Programming Education,” was successfully presented during the 3rd International Research Conference on Interdisciplinary Perspectives (IRCIP 2026), held virtually on August 7–8, 2026, in Cebu City, Philippines.

This achievement reflects their dedication to research excellence and their commitment to sharing meaningful scholarly work with the international research community.

The research team is composed of Ms. Kristel Marie G. Punzalan, Dean of Student Affairs; Mrs. Teresita SM. Dela Peña, Associate Professor, College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences; Ms. Michelle M. Santos, Subject Area Coordinator, Senior High School Department, and Faculty Member, College of Education and Library Information Science; and Dr. Ken Paul M. Espinosa, Executive Director of the University Center for Research and Development.

Their research paper, “Engagement in the Era of Digitized Education: Unpacking the Influence of Self-Regulated Learning and LMS Satisfaction,” has been published in the Emerging Technologies for Next Generation Learning and Education Spaces: COROLLA 2025, part of the Advances in Science, Technology & Innovation series, published by Springer, Cham (E-ISSN: 2522-8722; P-ISSN: 2522-8714).

The team is composed of Rachel Ann R. Diaz, MSN, RN; Racquel DC. Cruz, MSN, RN; and Mary Ann M. Mangulabnan, MSN, RN, all of whom are clinical instructors from CNAHS. The team also includes Jose A. Grayda, MSN, RN, a distinguished BU alumnus; Cecilia C. Yasa, MSN, RN, Level III Faculty Chairman of CNAHS; and Ken Paul M. Espinosa, PhD, DRDM, Executive Director of the University Center for Research and Development.

Their paper, “Job Satisfaction and Burnout Among Nurses: Implications for Workforce Retention and Healthcare Quality,” has been published in the Journal of Global Business, Volume 15, Issue 2 (ISSN 2350-7179).

Following the announcement of the local government on the suspension of on-campus classes due to the continuous rains, classes in ALL LEVELS will shift to online learning on Monday, August 17, 2026.
