ICYMI: Last June 24, 2026, NU Baliwag signed Memoranda of Agreement with Prof. Po-Han Lin, Director of the International Master's Program for Learning and Instruction at National Taipei University of Education, and Ms. Buyana Buyanjargal, Founder of We Are Global Citizens - GCED - Global Citizenship Education Taiwan. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

These MOAs will promote further collaboration for students' and faculty internationalization, academic exchange, and shared commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

This program was led by the NU Baliwag School of Education, Arts, and Sciences and the Academic Industry Linkages and Placement Office.

NU Baliwag Camp Recap! ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

What a memorable experience at NU Baliwag! Learning, sharing, and connecting with wonderful students and teachers. Here is a little peek into what we got up to! ๐Ÿ’›

We kicked things off with so much energy! Up to 60 amazing students joined us for our GCED lessons on โ€œUnderstanding Human Rights,โ€ โ€œGender Equality,โ€ โ€œOvercoming Poverty,โ€ and โ€œProtecting the Planet.โ€ The discussions were deep, honest, and full of heart.

Throughout the camp, our Culture Sharing sessions brought the world into one room with teachers from 8 different countries: Austria, Mongolia, Paraguay, Myanmar, Taiwan, Vietnam, the USA, and the Philippines. Everyone shared their stories and traditions, followed by a beautiful cultural performance by the Philippine students themselves. Truly magical! ๐ŸŒ

And to top it all off, we shared our Action Plans and celebrated together with a Certificate Awarding ceremony. โ€œSmall Actions, Big Changeโ€ reminded us that every step forward matters. ๐Ÿ†

To every student, teacher, and friend at NU Baliwag and Baliwag Senior High School, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made this week something we will never forget. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒ

Our first week at Sto. Ninฬƒo Integrated School! It was a week packed with a mixture of both excitement and appreciation. ๐Ÿ˜€

The week was loaded with GCED lessons covering Understanding Human Rights, Gender Equality, Overcoming Poverty, and Protecting the Planet. At the end of the GCED lessons, students created their own Action Plans and shared them with the school to make real change happen! ๐Ÿš€โœจ

We also had our teachers share some of their culture throughout the week through dancing, games, and sports! Beyond that, we also connected with local teachers and visited the community to experience the culture firsthand.

Throughout all of our classes, we had such an amazing time interacting with the students of Sto. Ninฬƒo. Their endless smiles and positive vibes kept us filled with the high energy we were needing.

Thank you Sto. Ninฬƒo Integrated School for welcoming us with open hearts and warm hugs! Weโ€™ll never forget our incredible week shared together. ๐Ÿค—

We have safely arrived in the beautiful Philippines and what a start it has been! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญโœจ

Day one kicked off with smiles, excitement, and a whole lot of exploring around Manila. We visited a wonderful museum and soaked in the rich culture and history this amazing city has to offer. Every corner had something new to discover!

Then came the big moment, an early 6 AM departure from Manila as our international teaching team made our way to the school and camp. After checking in, we headed straight to the school for a warm welcome lunch, followed by an overview visit to get familiar with this incredible place.

And all of our international teachers gather together to start preparing and decorating for our upcoming camp sessions. ๐ŸŽ‰

We are so grateful, so excited, and so ready for what lies ahead. This is just the beginning of a beautiful journey. Stay tuned for more updates! ๐Ÿ’›

T-minus 6 days until we head to the Philippines ๐Ÿ›ซ ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

A team of 16 members from 8 different countries, coming together with a shared purpose.

Before departure, we have been preparing through online meetings and in-person exchanges, while also exploring Taiwan through a team-building field trip in Taipei!

From visiting the Office of the President and reflecting on civic education, to learning about social justice at the National Human Rights Museum, and experiencing Taiwanese culture in Dadaocheng, each moment has shaped the way we connect, learn, and prepare to share!

The journey is coming ๐Ÿ’ซ

Last year, some of our GCED volunteer teachers were invited to share the cultures of Mongolia, Indonesia, Paraguay, and Vietnam through the English Corner program.
This year, we are happy to be part of the program once again, with culture sharing sessions featuring Honduras, the Philippines, Myanmar, and more to come. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿค

We are excited to announce that we are heading to the Philippines this June!

In preparation for our summer camp, we have taken part in both online and in person meetings to discuss lesson planning, activity brainstorming, and team building exercises.

Our Summer Camp team consists of 16 members from 9 different countries, all brought together by a shared vision of GCED teachings and values.

We are ready for our next unforgettable experience!

Weโ€™re proud to share that our founder, Mrs. Buyanjargal Batsuren, is taking part in the 25th Asia-Pacific Training Workshop on EIU/GCED: Empowering Educators to Deepen GCED Practice in a Rapidly Changing World ๐ŸŒ

This inspiring gathering brings together 26 educators from 18 countries, each contributing their unique national contexts and experiences in advancing Global Citizenship Education (GCED). It creates a powerful space for learning, exchanging ideas, and strengthening our collective impact.

Weโ€™re especially excited to see our โ€œWe Are Global Citizensโ€ project featured on this international stage, marking another meaningful milestone for our community.

Since our founding, we have:

โœจ Collaborated with 54 teachers from 19 countries
โœจ Partnered with 48 organizations
โœจ Worked actively across 5 countries
