MALAIG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

ALHAMDULILLAH!

In observance of the blessed month of Ramadhan, the School-Based Moltaqah (Islamic Symposium) was successfully conducted at Malaig Elementary School through the initiative of the School Head, Sittie Naira D. Pundamudag, in collaboration with the ISAL teachers.

The symposium highlighted important topics such as "Mga Phamakabatal sa Powasa" (Things that Invalidate Fasting) and "Last 10 Days of Ramadhan".
The activity aimed to enlighten and strengthen the Islamic knowledge and faith of the learners through meaningful discussions during this sacred month.

We are grateful to our lecturers, Alimoden G. H.Moner and Junaid Ibrahim, ISAL teachers of Malaig ES, for sharing their valuable insights and guidance with the participants.

The program was attended by the pupils from Grade 4 to Grade 6, MCCF intern teachers, ISAL teachers, and the teaching force of Malaig ES. The activity concluded with an engaging Question and Answer portion, where selected pupils who answered correctly received abaya as tokens.

Before the end of the program, all participants received kombong (hijab) and a loaf of bread, bringing joy and appreciation to everyone present.

Indeed, the activity was successfully carried out and served as a meaningful opportunity for learners to deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings during this holy month.

May Allah reward everyone who supported and participated in this blessed activity. 🤲🤲

Celebrating National Women’s month and the journey toward equality and inclusivity.

Every Wednesday of March, the halls of Malaig Elementary School shine a little brighter in purple. Teachers and staff come together to honor the strength, wisdom, and leadership of women, as part of the celebration, the school hosted a school-based Moltaqa with the topic “Mga Pamakabatal ko puwasa” and the “Last 10 days of Ramadhan”

A meaningful moment of strengthening faith, unity, and understanding within our school community.
