Calabuanan National High School Reaps Honors at 127th Siege of Baler Commemoration and 23rd Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day
In a remarkable opening to School Year 2025โ2026, Calabuanan National High School took part in the 127th Commemoration of the Historic Siege of Baler and the 23rd Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day held on July 2, 2025, at Aurora National Science High School.
Grade 10 student Christian Noah P. Laureta emerged as the champion in Surfboard Painting, while Grade 9 student Reth Marvie G. Gonzales secured 2nd place in Spoken Word Poetry. Both students represented their school with pride, showcasing creativity and skill in their respective categories.
The participants were coached by Mrs. Eleanor Camisa, with the full support of School Head Mrs. Madeline Santos.
The competition was held to pay tribute to the enduring ties between the Philippines and Spain. CNHS will continue to participate in meaningful activities that promote historical awareness.
