We are proud to share that the Aurora Studies Center’s HABI Program contributed to ASCOT’s achievements in WURI 2026. ASCOT ranked 8th globally in Category B4: Culture and Values.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Calabuanan Weavers and Handicrafts Association for allowing us to become their partner in heritage preservation through research and extension initiatives.

HABI: Revitalizing Sabutan Weaving through Research and Community Knowledge Transfer

HABI highlights ASCOT’s commitment to preserving Aurora’s sabutan weaving tradition through research, innovation, and community empowerment. Led by the Aurora Studies Center and the School of Arts and Sciences, the initiative strengthens cultural preservation while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for local weaving communities.

Halina't maki BEYA: Batis ng Edukasyon at Yaman ng Aurora

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng National Arts Month 2026, katuwang ang Socio-Cultural Affairs, Sports Development Unit, at Center for Indigenous Peoples Studies, halina't tuklasin ang mga sining ng katutubong laro kasama ang ating mga kababayang katutubong Dumagat mula sa Casiguran, Aurora.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat na makibahagi at tunghayan ang pagpapakita ng kasanayan sa mga katutubong laro at panayam sa mga kababayan nating katutubong Dumagat ngayong Lunes Pebrero 16, 2026 sa ganap na ika-sampu ng umaga sa ASCOT Gymnasium, Barangay Zabali, Baler Aurora.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat na makinig at tunghayan ang pagpapakita ng kasanayan at panayam ng mga kasapi ng asosasyon sa paglalala ng sabutan ngayong Huwebes, Pebrero 12, 2026, sa ganap na ika-sampu ng umaga sa Aurora Studies Center sa Ermita Hill, Barangay Zabali, Baler Aurora.

Enero 16, 2026- Natunghayan ng mga ASCOTian at mga bisita mula sa mga mataas na paaralan sa Aurora ang pagtatanghal ni G. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐚 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐠𝐚𝐫, isang sitarist at multi-instrumentalist mula sa Baler, Aurora, sa ginanap na BEYA Serye ng Pampublikong Panayam na pinamagatang “Sa Likod ng Musika. “ Kaalinsabay nito ang pagkukuwento ng kaniyang mga karanasan upang makapagbigay-inspirasyon sa mga dumalo.

Nakibahagi ang mga g**o at mag-aaral mula sa Baler National High School at Ditumabo National High School gayundin ang mga g**o mula sa iba't ibang akademikong yunit ng Aurora State College Of Technology. Kasama rin sa mga dumalo at nagpakilala sa panauhing pandangal si G. 𝗘𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲ñ𝗮.
