JULY 8, 2026 || The Committee on Education successfully conducted a committee hearing on the proposed institutionalization of the "Aral sa Baler Program", reaffirming the Municipality of Baler's commitment to providing sustainable and inclusive learning support for all learners who need remediation and enhancement activities.
The activity was attended by Committee on Education Chairperson Hon. Yuni May B. Fernando, Vice Chairperson Hon. Atty. Nikki M. Nicolas, and Committee Member Hon. Ellah Cherryl G. Villacorte, together with Public Schools District Supervisor Ma'am Vivian A. Carpio and the Schoolheads of Baler, who shared valuable insights and recommendations to further strengthen the proposed program.
The Aral sa Baler Program aims to ensure that appropriate academic interventions and learning support are continuously provided to learners, contributing to improved literacy, numeracy, and overall learning outcomes across the municipality.
Through the collective efforts of the Local Government Unit headed by Mayor Rhett Ronan Angara, the Department of Education, and other education stakeholders, the Municipality of Baler continues to strengthen its commitment to providing quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education, ensuring that every learner is given the opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential.
