New Research publication alert!

ASCOT School of Engineering Conducts Massive Masswork

The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) School of Engineering successfully conducted a massive masswork on July 10, 2026, with the active participation of engineering faculty members and students.

The activity brought together members of the School of Engineering in a collective effort to improve and maintain the college's facilities and learning environment. Through teamwork and volunteerism, participants carried out various cleaning, organizing, and maintenance activities, demonstrating their shared responsibility and commitment to creating a safe, clean, and conducive environment for learning and innovation.

The Massive Masswork reflects the School of Engineering's spirit of unity, cooperation, and service, reinforcing the value of working together toward a common goal.

ASCOT School of Engineering Holds Recognition and Hard Hatting Ceremony

BALER, Aurora – July 8, 2026 — The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) School of Engineering held its Recognition and Hard Hatting Ceremony at the Baler Convention Center, honoring the achievements of its engineering students.

The ceremony recognized the Dean’s Listers from the Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs for their outstanding academic performance. A highlight of the event was the Hard Hatting Ceremony, where engineering students symbolically donned their hard hats, signifying their commitment to professionalism, responsibility, and safety.

The event brought together administrators, faculty members, parents, and guests in celebrating the students’ accomplishments and encouraging them to continue pursuing excellence in the engineering profession.

The School of Engineering will conduct its Orientation Activity tomorrow, Friday, July 3, 2026, with the following schedule and venue assignments:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Venue: Dalguchi Center

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
🕑 Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Venue: Bulwagan

All students are advised to arrive on time and be guided accordingly.

Reminder:Due to the warm weather conditions, please bring a handheld fan and drinking water to stay comfortable and hydrated throughout the activity.

ASCOT, LGU San Luis, and DOST Central Luzon Benchmark Natural Fiber Processing Facility

TAGUIG CITY, June 24, 2026 -Representatives from the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) School of Engineering, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Luis, and DOST Central Luzon conducted a benchmarking visit to the Natural Fiber Processing Facility of the DOST–Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI).

The benchmarking activity provided the participants with valuable insights into natural fiber processing technologies, equipment, and best practices. It also served as an important preparatory step toward the development of a future collaborative project among the participating institutions, aimed at promoting research, innovation, and sustainable utilization of natural fiber resources in Aurora
