TEACHERS’ DAY 2026: CONTEST MECHANICS
General Guidelines
• The contest is open to all currently enrolled Carmelians.
• All entries must be original and made specifically for this contest.
• Entries must be related to the Teachers’ Day Celebration and should show appreciation for teachers.
• Plagiarized, AI-generated, or previously submitted entries will not be accepted.
• Entries containing offensive, inappropriate, or disrespectful content will be disqualified.
• Submission after the deadline will not be accepted.
1. Poem Writing
• The poem must be an original work dedicated to teachers.
• It must have a minimum of 2 stanzas and a maximum of 5 stanzas.
• The poem may be written in Filipino, English, or a combination of both.
• Submit the poem in a clear and readable digital format. 8.5 x 11 (short bond paper).

2. Music Video ( Group )
• The music video must be 1-3 minutes long.
• The video must focus on teachers and their importance to students.
• Participants may use an original song or a legally usable song.
• Proper credit must be given to the song, artist, and other copyrighted materials used.
• The video must be submitted in MP4 format.

3. Poster Making
• The poster must focus on Teachers’ Day and express appreciation for teachers.
• The poster must be created using Canva only.
• The poster size must be 8.5 × 11 inches (Short Bond Paper), either Portrait or Landscape orientation.
• The artwork must be original and created by the participant.
• Participants must submit the Canva link of their poster to the main page for checking and submission.

4. Slogan Making
• The slogan must be short, original, meaningful, and relevant to Teachers’ Day.
• It must express appreciation, respect, or recognition for teachers.
• The slogan may be in Filipino, English, or both.
• The slogan must have a maximum of 15 words.
• The slogan must be created using Canva only on an 8.5 × 11-inch (Short Bond Paper) layout, either Portrait or Landscape orientation.
• Participants must submit the Canva link of their slogan to the main page for checking and submission.

5. Creative Photography ( Group )
• Participants must submit one original photograph that captures the spirit of Teachers’ Day.
• The photo must feature a teacher, classroom moment, teaching-related scene, or another appropriate representation of appreciation for teachers.
• Basic editing such as cropping, brightness, and contrast is allowed.
• AI-generated images are not allowed.
• Participants must have permission from people appearing prominently in the photograph.
