On the third day of the intensive training, Mr. Kirk Bautista, faculty member of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Program under the School of Accountancy and Business Management (SABM), focused on the fundamentals and advanced techniques of classical soup preparation as part of the 18th LTB Philippines Culinary Scholarship Program. Under the expert guidance of Chef Hanna, the session highlighted precision, flavor development, and professional culinary standards through the preparation of Hungarian Goulash Soup, Beef ConsommΓ© (CΓ©lestine), Prawn Bisque, Herbed Fish Quenelles, French Onion Soup, Oven-Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Cinnamon Foam, Cream of Tomato Soup, Lentil Soup with Vegetables, Minestrone Soup, and Seafood Soup.

Faculty Development Update | LTB Culinary Scholarship Program for Teachers

The School of Accountancy and Business Management shares an update on the ongoing participation of Sir Kirk Joshua C. Bautista in the 18th Batch of the LTB Culinary Scholarship Program for Teachers at the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management (ISCAHM), Manila.

As the scholarship program continues, participants are immersed in hands-on culinary training designed to enhance both technical skills and teaching competencies.

For Day 2, the laboratory session focused on the preparation of Homemade Mayonnaise, Classic Salads, and a variety of Dressings. Under the guidance of Chef Ker, participants explored proper preparation techniques, ingredient functionality, flavor balance, and professional kitchen standards through practical application.
