COLLEGE DEPARTMENT ADVISORY
NO PLASTIC BOTTLES POLICY
In line with the College Department's commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable campus practices, a No Plastic Bottle Policy will be implemented effective August 10, 2026.
All students are encouraged to help protect our environment by refraining from bringing single-use plastic bottles into the College Department. Instead, kindly bring your own reusable tumbler or refillable water bottle to support our campus sustainability efforts.
This initiative aims to reduce plastic waste, promote responsible consumption, and foster environmental awareness among the college community.
Compliance Reminder
To encourage everyone to observe this policy, a minimal environmental fine will be imposed for each violation involving the use or bringing of a single-use plastic bottle within the College Department. The collected fines will be used to support environmental and sustainability initiatives of the College Department.
We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and commitment to making our campus a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable place for everyone.
SDG Alignment
This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 12 โ Responsible Consumption and Production: Promoting the reduction of single-use plastics through the use of reusable containers.
SDG 13 โ Climate Action: Encouraging environmentally responsible habits that help reduce carbon emissions and plastic pollution.
SDG 15 โ Life on Land: Helping protect ecosystems by minimizing plastic waste that can harm terrestrial environments.
"Bring Your Own Tumbler. Reduce Plastic. Protect Our Future."
