After 2 years of pandemic, the 2nd year Hospitality and Tourism Students (IAHTS) will host an actual event (IAHTS WEEK) on May 22–26, 2023, with the theme "Discover the Extraordinary: Reaching Beyond Success in the Industry of Tourism and Hospitality." It is an event where every student can showcase their talent and skills. We are inviting everyone to join and participate.

Career fashion show of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management IV and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management IV students of Immaculate Conception College of Balayan, Inc. held in ICCBI Gymnasium last December 13, 2022 during their in-house seminar.

In-House Seminar with the theme “Moving Beyond Limits: Trends, Issues, and Innovations of the Hospitality & Tourism Industry in the New Normal”

The Covid-19 Pandemic had a wide range of effects on the hospitality and tourism sectors. Students around the nation are no exemption to its impacts. People, particularly students, have embraced a variety of changes. Prior to the pandemic, students back then used to go to physical events, but when it spread over the world, students' studies and academic advancement were adversely affected.

Everything changed as a result of those adjustments, including seminars that became webinars and contests that became virtual contests and shows, among many other things. The students never stopped trying to achieve their best. The entire pandemic's impact on academics and classroom activities was felt by this group of students. They did their best to introduce online events, webinars, and other significant school events.

However, given the chance to return to class and actually participate in the activities, students were challenge to develop and carry out their plans. However, with the support and direction of their teachers, their event was a success and provided the department as a whole with the chance to attend and learn from the famous guest speakers, in addition to providing the team with the chance to experience event planning.

Last December 13, 2022, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management IV & Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management IV students of Immaculate Conception College of Balayan, Inc. held its first ever in-house seminar at the ICC Gymnasium as part of their final examinations under the supervisions of Mrs. Maribeth H. Andino, the BSHM/BSTM Program Head and Mrs. Maria Grace B. Balboa, the BSTM Adviser.

The event was hosted by Ms. Shainah C. Perumthara from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management IV together with the Seminar’s Overall Chairman, Mr. Jay Jay P. Guevarra from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management IV. And with the help, cooperation and unity of the whole Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management IV & Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management IV students, and other students from the lower years of both programs, the event went successful and ended in peace.

The organizing team would like to extend their warmest gratitude to the following distinguished guest speakers who take their time in sharing their knowledge, experiences and expertise in their respective fields:
