Sa sipag, tiyaga, at sama-samang pagkilos ng ating school community, unti-unti nating napapanatiling luntian at produktibo ang ating gulayan. Sa bawat punla at bawat ani, nakikita natin ang bunga ng pagkakaisa, malasakit, at sustainable school-based initiatives.

Today, we gathered our students, parents, and guardians for the Term 1 HRPTA Meeting and Distribution of Report Cards; a valuable opportunity to celebrate progress, discuss areas for improvement, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.

Day 2 featured insightful discussions on:

🦺The Comprehensive Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Education (DRRM-E) Framework and Other DRRM-CCAM Related Policies

🚨School Safety Protocols and Anti-Bullying

These sessions strengthened our teachers’ understanding of disaster preparedness, risk reduction, climate change adaptation and mitigation, school safety, and the promotion of a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment.

The day also highlighted the General Assembly and Election of BALSSTEA Officers, fostering stronger collaboration, representation, and unity among the secondary schools of Balatan District.

Our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the working committees, the School Heads of the five secondary schools, our newly elected and outgoing BALSSTEA Officers, and all our dedicated teachers for their active participation, cooperation, and commitment to continuous professional development.

Special thanks to our Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Julia O. Jornales, for her continued guidance, leadership, and support in making this district-wide professional learning activity meaningful and successful.

And the Palakasan 2026 officially begins!

We started the day with an energetic Fun Run, followed by an exciting Zumba session, setting the perfect mood for a celebration of fitness, teamwork, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

The Opening Program brought our learners, teachers, and staff together as we officially kick off this year’s school sports fest. May every game be filled with fun, fair play, determination, and school spirit!
