The Ritz School of Integrated Studies is located in the heart of the town proper of Balasan. It is just a 5-10 minute walk from villages around the area. It is on the left-side as one travels down Del Rosario Street, coming from Iloilo City; on the right-side, from Roxas City. It is over Mercury Drug, a pharmacy well-signposted from the street. Its entrance is across from Julie’s, a bakery. There are regular tricycle services from the neighbourhood to the central town area, where the school is on the second and fourth floors of the Saavedra-Pacis Building at 13 Del Rosario Street. The school is enclosed with panes of glass and has a centralised air-conditioning, making the school impenetrable to outside noise and conducive to learning and a comfortable setting for productive activity. It has also a cafeteria, which only sells healthy food. Here, students enjoy at least one full period every day of socially based physical activity in the form of recess. Its classrooms provide an inspirational environment for study and associated social events. Most classes are in small groups, which receive individualised instruction. All instructional materials are custom-made and gone through by specialists. Every year, the students are encouraged to share with the community through talent shows and presentations, or at the end of the programme, the students must showcase what they have learnt or their outputs. Computers and widescreens are integrated into teaching and learning at the Ritz School of Integrated Studies. Supplement materials such as video and audio files are made available. Though it is open from 7 AM up to 9 PM, no students are allowed to go out without the permission of the school director/officer in charge except at lunchtime or emergency cases. Parents can request children to go out only when picked up by them personally. The Ritz School of Integrated Studies has eight departments to date:
