Sa paggunita natin sa ika-128 anibersaryo ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas, binibigyang-pugay natin ang katapangan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng mga Pilipinong lumaban upang makamit ang kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon.

Ang Araw ng Kalayaan ay hindi lamang pag-alala sa isang makasaysayang tagumpay, kundi isang paalala na ang tunay na kalayaan ay kaakibat ng responsibilidad, pagkakaisa, at aktibong pakikilahok sa paghubog ng isang mas mabuting lipunan. Sa bawat pagkakataong pinipili nating gawin ang tama, igalang ang karapatan ng iba, at maglingkod sa ating komunidad, ipinagpapatuloy natin ang adhikaing ipinaglaban ng ating mga bayani.

Bilang mga Pilipino, nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang mga kwento upang higit nating mahalin ang ating bansa, pahalagahan ang ating kasaysayan, at gamitin ang ating mga kakayahan para sa ikauunlad ng bayan. Sa gitna ng mga hamon ng kasalukuyan, manatili tayong matatag, mapagkalinga, at nagkakaisa para sa isang mas maunlad na kinabukasan.

Ngayon at sa mga susunod pang henerasyon, patuloy nating ipagmalaki ang ating kalayaan at ang diwang Pilipino na nananatiling buhay sa puso ng bawat mamamayan.
