Parent-Scouts Meeting 2026: Strengthening the Partnership in Youth Leadership

Building strong, value-driven leaders begins with a solid foundation between the school, the outfit, and the home. Last August 10, 2026, our Scouting family gathered virtually via Google Meet for our annual Parent-Scouts Meeting to align our goals, discuss upcoming unit activities, and reaffirm our shared commitment to youth development.

Key Highlights of the Gathering

Institutional Head SL Dr. Jennifer G. Guzman, Principal IV, delivered an inspiring opening address, emphasizing the crucial role of Scouting in fostering character, resilience, and civic responsibility among students.

SL Sammy Y. Sabello, Outfit Advisor, hosted and facilitated the session, walking parents through the upcoming Scouting itinerary, merit badge tracks, safety protocols, and co-curricular integration.

Parents engaged in meaningful dialogue regarding student involvement, advancement requirements, and strategies to support their child's Scouting journey at home.

Scouting is more than an extracurricular activity—it is a continuous learning process that equips young individuals with practical life skills, teamwork, and leadership. We extend our sincere gratitude to our administration, troop leaders, and dedicated parents for working together to guide our Scouts toward academic and personal excellence.

𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲

A motorcycle accident in Barangay Arsenal, Lamao, Bataan, placed a young child in critical condition on July 24, 2026. Among those who responded was Rover Scout Rhojake Atale, who immediately stepped forward to help.

Seeing that no adult was initially available to take charge, he rushed to the injured child and called for assistance. When the child’s condition deteriorated, he relied on his first aid knowledge and remained at the scene to assist.

As the child sustained a bleeding head wound, he used his Scout neckerchief to apply direct pressure. After several tense minutes, the child began to cry and regained responsiveness.

RS Atale continued assisting with basic first aid alongside responding police personnel until emergency responders arrived. His neckerchief was later used as a triangular bandage to secure the dressing before the child was safely transported to the hospital.

His actions are a powerful reminder that Scouting gives young people skills they can carry beyond training grounds and into moments when those skills can make a real difference.
