Today’s flag ceremony, June 15, 2026, was successfully led by our dedicated Assistant Principals, Sir Edryll Contreras and Ma'am Mary Grace Vinzon alongside the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers.

BNHS Senior High School warmly welcomed 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼, 𝗘𝗣𝗦 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, during the monitoring of the school’s Oplan Balik Eskwela implementation. Together with Sir Ian and our Assistant Principal, Ma’am Mary Grace V. Vinzon, the team visited the school to ensure a smooth, safe, and organized opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

The Bataan National High School – Senior High School successfully conducts the DepEd Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI) to assess and strengthen students’ reading proficiency. This activity reflects the school’s continued commitment to nurturing literacy and empowering learners toward academic excellence.

𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐒 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡

A total of 2,036 Grade 11 and 2,046 Grade 12 students of Bataan National High School Senior High School (BNHS SHS) attended the orientation program facilitated by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government BNHS - SHS (SSLG) to welcome students on the first day of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

In his Welcome Remarks, Sir Ian Luegim De Leon, School Head, expressed his excitement for the new batch of Grade 11 students who will experience the quality education in BNHS SHS. One of the highlights of the program was the introduction of the advisers for each section and cluster by the Assistant Principal for Academics, Ma'am Mary Grace Vinzon.

Meanwhile, Sir Edryll Contreras, Assistant Principal for Operations, reminded students not only of their rights but also of their responsibilities in helping maintain BNHS SHS as a safe and conducive learning environment for every SHSArellanista.

This week is dedicated to psychosocial activities, reading programs, and subject orientations designed to help students transition smoothly into the new school year.

May this school year be filled with meaningful learning, growth, and memorable experiences for every SHSArellanista!
