The CHRE conducts educational and training programs, projects and activities to educate the community on Human Rights.

On 14 September 2007, A Memorandum of Agreement was signed among The Commission on Human Rights (CHR), the Philippine Association of Extension Program Implementors, Inc (PAEPI), and the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU). The said MOA signing effectively started the establishment of a Regional Human Rights Education Center in BPSU. Since then, BPSU has continually moved for the mainstreaming

The Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) is the only SUC in the country who has consistently earned PCW's endorsement for its GAD Plan and Budget and GAD Accomplishment Report, from 2015 to 2019.

With the aim to help other HEIs, BPSU shall conduct on June 19-22, 2018 the Luzonwide Training-Workshop on Mainstreaming GAD in Agency Operations and the Program Cycle in the historic province of Bataan.

Focus shall be how to integrate GAD in instruction, research, extension and other HEI services, in compliance to CHED Memo Order 01, s2015. Government and private higher education institutions are invited to attend as both are governed by the CMO, and are expected to comply with it.
