"AUDITE . ECCE EXIIT . SEMINANS . AD SEMINANDUM (Mark 4:3)"

According to the โ€œDECREE ON PRIESTLY TRAINING (OPTATAM TOTIUS) PROCLAIMED BY HIS HOLINESS POPE PAUL VI ON OCTOBER 28, 1965" of the Second Vatican Council, seminary life is the entire program in which a person with the gift of vocation to the priesthood is being trained and formed as future minister of the Church. It further states that โ€œthe entire training of souls after the model of our Lord Jesus Christ, teacher, priest and shepherdโ€ in view of this exhortation of the Second Vatican Council.
