We are proud to announce that on December 16, 2024, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has honored BPSU with a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of our recent milestone when the University became an Associate Member and was awarded the prestigious ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) and during the Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability Awards 2024 (ICONS 2024) last October 22, 2024. This remarkable award was conferred by none other than the honorable Dr. J. Prospero "Popoy" E. De Vera III, DPA, Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education.

This exciting recognition highlights BPSU’s relentless efforts in delivering world-class education and pushing for utmost excellence.

It is our privilege to announce that BPSU has recently been featured as one of the environmentally-sustainable universities all over the Philippines and worldwide. Securing Rank 42 nationally and Rank 978 globally in the 2024 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III commended the University for this amazing feat. With this, BPSU is hailed among the Top 5 HEIs in Region III and in the Top 50 in all of the Philippines as well!

The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is an international system that evaluates universities based on their sustainability efforts across six key indicators: setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste, water, transportation, and education.

This astounding achievement highlights BPSU's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility on a global scale. It is through the relentless efforts of the Environmental Sustainability Office (ENSO) and the entire University that BPSU continues to pave the way toward a greener future.

𝘏𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘕𝘰𝘸: 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘗𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘋𝘪𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘪 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘢 𝘋𝘦 𝘕𝘰𝘤𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘌𝘥 𝘈𝘮𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 4𝘱𝘮 𝘵𝘰 5𝘱𝘮 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸! 𝘚𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦!

Diwali: The Festival of Lights

Teatro Peninsulares kicked off the Diwali festival with a touching performance about a family who celebrates this special occasion. The story beautifully captured the spirit of Diwali, focusing on themes of hope and new beginnings. As the audience watched, they saw how the family’s belief in the festival not only brightened their home but also brought about meaningful changes in their lives.

This heartfelt tale showcased the power of resilience and the strength of family ties. It showed how faith, traditions, and being together can help us navigate life’s toughest challenges, ultimately leading to a brighter future. The performance was more than just a story; it was an emotional journey that resonated with everyone in the audience, reminding them of the importance of love and connection during tough times.

Dama De Noche

After the warmth of Diwali, the audience was treated to another captivating play by Teatro Peninsulares, titled "Dama De Noche." This story followed two friends as they dealt with the ups and downs of love and friendship. The play explored the complexities of love at first sight, particularly through the eyes of one character who had strong feelings for her male friend.

However, she faced the hard reality that her love was not returned in the same way. Her friend was too caught up in his infatuation with someone else to see her true value. This part of the story struck a deep chord with the audience, exposing the bittersweet nature of love—it can bring great joy, but also sadness.

As the story unfolded, viewers witnessed the growth of a deeper connection between the two friends. This development highlighted the idea that real love comes from understanding each other and sharing experiences, rather than just physical attraction. The play beautifully illustrated that true relationships often go beyond what meets the eye.
