LIVE NOW: Webinar on Developing Assertiveness and Protecting Personal Boundaries

Your voice matters. Your feelings matter. And your boundaries deserve respect.

Join us as we empower ourselves with the confidence to speak up, make healthy choices, and build meaningful relationships founded on mutual respect and understanding. This webinar is more than just a learning opportunity, it is a step toward stronger self-worth, emotional well-being, and personal growth.

Remember: Being assertive is not about being aggressive. It is about valuing yourself enough to express your thoughts, stand by your principles, and protect your peace.

This meaningful initiative of the Guidance and Counseling Units across all BPSU campuses supports the vision of fostering safe, supportive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environments as embodied in CHED Memorandum Order No. 18, Series of 2026, on Inclusive and Comprehensive Policies and Guidelines on Student Affairs and Services, and CHED Memorandum Order No. 9, Series of 2013, Section 14, Article 14.1, which highlights the importance of student welfare and development programs.

Let us learn together, grow together, and become advocates of our own well-being. Every boundary you set is an act of self-respect, and every confident step you take brings you closer to becoming the best version of yourself.

Healthy sibling relationships are more than just bonds of kinshipโ€”they are lifelines of emotional support, resilience, and belonging. In households where one or both parents are absent due to employment, migration, separation, or other circumstances, siblings often step into roles of guidance, companionship, and shared responsibility. While these relationships can nurture strength and unity, they may also face challenges such as misunderstandings, conflicts, and communication gaps.

This webinar seeks to empower students and families by providing practical strategies in empathy, effective communication, conflict resolution, and emotional support. Through expert-led discussions and interactive learning, participants will gain valuable insights on how to build stronger sibling connections that promote mental well-being, cooperation, and mutual respect.

This initiative is anchored on CHED Memorandum Order No. 9, Series of 2013, emphasizing student welfare and psychosocial well-being. It is part of the Guidance and Counseling Unitโ€™s commitment to nurturing studentsโ€™ emotional health and family engagement.

Thatโ€™s a wrap on the Peer Facilitators Training 2026!

Day 2 brought our learning off the screen and into the room as our new peer facilitators gathered at the 3rd Floor OSA Building for an insightful, hands-on session with our resource speaker, Mr. Jayvie Villazor, RPsy, RPm, FT.

Across two full days and 16 contact hours, our new Peer Facilitators built essential helping skills, deepened their empathy, and embraced their role in supporting student well-being. By stepping up, these student leaders are actively championing SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) right here at BPSU.

Thank you to everyone who participated and committed to making our campus a safer, more supportive space. You are ready to support, listen, and upliftโ€”go out there and be the light!
