In line with DepEd's digital transformation initiatives and commitment to continuous professional development, COBNHS-SHS successfully conducted a Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session titled "Project GUIDE: MS Teams Training for Senior High School Teachers" on June 18, 2026.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Gerry A. Deocareza, OIC โ Assistant Principal, who shared valuable insights and practical applications of Microsoft Teams in communication, collaboration, classroom management, and instructional delivery.
Through hands-on discussions and demonstrations, teachers enhanced their digital competencies in creating class teams, managing assignments, organizing learning materials, and maximizing Microsoft Teams as a platform for teaching and learning.
By empowering teachers with digital skills, we empower learners for success in the 21st century. ๐ก

As part of our preparedness efforts for the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, tomorrow, on June 18, 2026, DepEd- City of Balanga National High School- Senior High School conducted an unannounced earthquake drill to assess the readiness and response of learners, teachers, and personnel during emergency situations. ๐จ๐ซ
The activity reinforced the importance of staying alert, remaining calm, and following proper safety procedures during earthquakes. Let us continue to build a culture of safety and readiness in our school community.

As part of the program, Maโam Hilda Maranan shared the AVAW (A Values A Week) focusing on Honesty and Dignity, reminding everyone to uphold these values in their daily actions and interactions.

Last June 4, 2026, DepEd- City of Balanga National High School- Senior High School successfully conducted its General Assembly attended by parents, guardians, and learners in preparation for the opening of School Year 2026โ2027.
Sir Mark Jason T. Perez, School Principal, led the assembly by presenting the accomplishments of the school, and key information regarding the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum and the Three-Term Calendar. He also discussed school policies, disaster preparedness measures, and other important matters that parents and learners can look forward to this school year.
This was followed by the discussion of general school information by Maโam Lisa Gemina, Subject Group Head in Filipino, who presented the core and elective subjects, grading system, recognition system, and other academic guidelines. Meanwhile, Maโam Katrina Guinto, Guidance Designate, discussed the provisions of the Student Handbook, including proper school uniform, student discipline, and anti-bullying policies.
The assembly concluded with the election of the new School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) officers. Prior to the election, Ms. Antoneth S. San Pedro, outgoing SPTA President, delivered her message and presented the accomplishments of the SPTA for School Year 2025โ2026.
