For additional knowledge, we want to share our conclusion to our study.

CONCLUSION

1. The respondents comprise (80) senior citizens of Cabog-cabog City aged 60 years and above regardless of their s*x, civil status, educational attainment, occupation, religion, family income, and comorbid disease. Most of the respondents were females in the ages of 66-70 years old and a Roman catholic member. Many of them are married and don’t have an occupation. Additional, several of the respondents are elementary graduates and have a monthly income of fewer than 10,000 pesos. A large percentage of those asked have hypertension.

2. Generally, the quality of healthcare services generally is excellent and very good, as represented by its composite mean. Among the areas assessed, it shows that Reliability got the highest composite mean and continuity is the lowest. Based on the results, health care modifications are suggested to be made to improve the continuity and to enhance the quality of healthcare services given to older adults in Cabog-Cabog, Balanga City.

3.Generally, there is no significant difference in the perception of the respondents to their s*x, religion, and the presence of co-morbid disease. On the other hand, there is a significant difference in the perception of the respondents on the quality of healthcare services concerning their age, civil status, occupation, educational attainment, and average monthly income. It implies that different apprehension of the older adults in Brgy. Cabog-Cabog is circulating, the way they perceived the health care services given among them.

We are delighted to share our progress after several days of working on our questionnaires, reviewing, and obtaining data. We did our pilot testing with 30 respondents over the last few days and achieved a Cronbach's alpha of 0.937. Following that, we conducted data collection for 80 older individuals in Barangay Cabog-Cabog. Finally, the data analysis and interpretation were completed successfully.

We like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all who contributed to our research from the very first part. Thank you so much! May the Lord blessed you all!

The questionnaire had validated by professionals with experience in nursing and research, and it had put through a pilot test to ensure its reliability and consistency.

The pilot testing result is 0.937 (Cronbach's Alpha) out of a 25-item questionnaire. We have achieved its birthright purpose after a lot of edits, corrections, heat, and tiredness!

INFOGRAPHICS OF THE QUALITY OF HEALTHCARE SERVICE AMONG OLDER ADULTS

The number of older people is growing rapidly in the Philippines, faster than the growth of the overall population. According to a 2018 report by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), the Philippines is on its way to become an "aging society" in 2032 which means in 13 years, Filipinos aged 65 years old and older will make up 7% of our country's total population. In 2069, this figure will go up to 14% making the Philippines an "aged society".

The purposes of this study is to determine the quality of healthcare services received among older adults. More specifically, this study will seek the following: (1) identify the health care services provided in the barangay for the elderly, (2) assess the quality of healthcare services among older adults, and (3) determine the relationship of the level of assessment of the quality of healthcare and the satisfaction of older adults.

If you have questions feel free to message us. Remember, simple act of caring is heroic according to Mr. Edward Albert
