In view of the intense rainfall and flooding being experienced in various areas of Bataan, and in consideration of the safety and well-being of the BPSU community, please be advised of the following:

All classes under the Undergraduate, Graduate School, College of Law, and College of Medicine shall shift to ASYNCHRONOUS ONLINE LEARNING effective 3:00 PM today, August 19, until Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Faculty members are reminded to give students ample time to accomplish and submit their assigned activities and academic requirements, taking into consideration the prevailing weather conditions and possible difficulties in accessing learning resources.

The University continues to closely monitor the weather situation and official government advisories. Any subsequent suspension or directive issued by the National Government shall supersede the arrangements stated in this advisory.

Further announcements shall be issued through official BPSU communication channels as necessary.

In view of the Orange Rainfall Warning and the continuous flooding being experienced in several areas of Bataan, BPSU announces the following adjustments to its academic and office operations:

โ€ข All scheduled Midterm Examinations shall be moved to August 24โ€“29, 2026 (Monday to Saturday).
โ€ข All classes shall shift to synchronous online learning from August 18- 22, 2026 to allow the completion of remaining course topics.
โ€ข Graduate School Onsite Midterm Examination shall proceed on August 22, 2026.
โ€ข The deadline for Dropping of Courses is extended until Monday, August 24, 2026.
โ€ข All University offices shall conduct online transactions from August 18-20, 2026. A skeletal workforce shall be maintained for the Finance, Human Resource, and Cashier offices to ensure the continuity of essential onsite services.

Students and faculty members are advised to coordinate with their respective colleges regarding specific class and examination schedules.

The University continues to closely monitor the prevailing weather conditions and the situation in affected communities.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the President on August 17, 2026, office work shall shift to online transactions, effective 12:00 NN today, August 17, 2026.

Everyone is encouraged to exercise caution and prioritize safety while traveling.

In view of the prevailing weather conditions in the Province of Bataan and in consideration of the safety and well-being of the BPSU community, the University shall implement the following arrangements tomorrow, August 13, 2026:

-All classes, On-the-Job Training (OJT), clinical and hospital duties shall shift to ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ง๐œ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ž. Students who experience difficulty participating due to flooding, unstable internet connectivity, power interruptions, or other weather-related conditions may be excused, provided that they inform their respective instructors.

-University employees shall ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ž and continue the regular delivery of services. Employees affected by flooding or other weather-related conditions that make travel difficult or unsafe may be excused from onsite reporting, provided that they coordinate with their respective Campus Directors or immediate supervisors.

-The School of Nursing Capping and Pinning Ceremony shall proceed as scheduled on August 13, 2026.

The University will continue to closely monitor the prevailing weather conditions and official government advisories.

In view of the Red Rainfall Warning still raised over parts of Bataan and the prevailing weather conditions affecting the province, BPSU shall implement the following arrangements on August 10-11:

-Classes shall shift to asynchronous online (modular) mode of instruction. Faculty members are reminded to provide students with ample time to accomplish academic requirements and refrain from imposing immediate deadlines, taking into consideration possible power interruptions, unstable internet connectivity, and other weather-related difficulties.

-Hospital duties, community duties, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) will shift to asynchronous online mode of instruction.

-The School of Nursing Capping and Pinning Ceremony is cancelled as scheduled and rescheduled to August 13, 2026.

-University offices shall shift to online transactions, except for personnel required to participate in the scheduled online PBB validation.

-The Health Services Unit (HSU) shall accommodate teleconsultations, while Guidance and Counseling Services shall remain available for students requiring online counseling.

The University continues to closely monitor official weather bulletins and directives from concerned government agencies.

Any subsequent suspension or directive issued by the National Government shall supersede this University advisory.

Due to continuing inclement weather conditions, all classes across all campuses shall shift to online synchronous learning effective from August 6 to August 8. Likewise, all on-the-job training (OJT), clinical duties, NSTP, and the Graduate School shall continue with its online synchronous modalities.

Students experiencing poor or unstable internet connectivity shall be excused from participating in synchronous classes and are encouraged to coordinate with their respective instructors. Faculty members are likewise enjoined to extend due consideration and provide appropriate accommodations for affected students.

The University encourages everyone to remain vigilant, monitor official weather advisories, and prioritize their safety at all times.

In view of the continuous inclement weather being experienced in various parts of the Province of Bataan due to Tropical Depression Maymay and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), and in consideration of the safety and well-being of the BPSU community, all University offices shall shift to online transactions effective 2:00 PM today, August 5, 2026, until Friday, August 7, 2026.

This temporary arrangement is being implemented not only to ensure the continued delivery of essential University services through online platforms but also to provide our campuses with ample time to undertake the necessary preparations for the approaching weather disturbance.

The University will continue to closely monitor the prevailing weather conditions and issue further advisories should the situation warrant additional adjustments.
