In view of the Orange Rainfall Warning and the continuous flooding being experienced in several areas of Bataan, BPSU announces the following adjustments to its academic and office operations:
โข All scheduled Midterm Examinations shall be moved to August 24โ29, 2026 (Monday to Saturday).
โข All classes shall shift to synchronous online learning from August 18- 22, 2026 to allow the completion of remaining course topics.
โข Graduate School Onsite Midterm Examination shall proceed on August 22, 2026.
โข The deadline for Dropping of Courses is extended until Monday, August 24, 2026.
โข All University offices shall conduct online transactions from August 18-20, 2026. A skeletal workforce shall be maintained for the Finance, Human Resource, and Cashier offices to ensure the continuity of essential onsite services.
Students and faculty members are advised to coordinate with their respective colleges regarding specific class and examination schedules.
The University continues to closely monitor the prevailing weather conditions and the situation in affected communities.
Any subsequent suspension or directive issued by the National Government shall supersede the arrangements stated in this advisory.
Further announcements shall be issued through official BPSU communication channels as necessary.

Midterm Examination

Integration Day shall serve as an academic preparation day, giving students the opportunity to review and consolidate their lessons, seek clarification from their instructors, and prepare for the Midterm Examination. Faculty members may likewise use the day for student consultations and other appropriate academic guidance and support.
All students and faculty members are reminded to observe academic integrity, honesty, punctuality, and proper examination protocols throughout the examination period.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 125, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the President on August 13, 2026, all classes and office work at Bataan Peninsula State University are suspended effective 3:00 PM today, August 13, 2026.
In view of the prevailing weather conditions and to ensure the safety and well-being of the BPSU community, the University shall implement the following arrangements for Friday and Saturday:
- Friday, August 14: All classes, OJT, clinical, hospital, and other related duties shall shift to synchronous online learning, while University offices shall conduct online transactions.
- The scheduled School of Midwifery Apron and Pinning Investiture shall proceed as scheduled.
- Saturday, August 15: All scheduled classes, OJT, clinical, hospital, and other related duties shall be conducted through synchronous online learning.
Students who may experience difficulty participating in synchronous online classes due to unstable internet connectivity, power interruptions, flooding, or other weather-related conditions are advised to inform their respective instructors and shall be given due consideration.

Following the improvement of weather conditions, face-to-face classes and onsite work arrangements shall resume across BPSU campuses tomorrow, August 12, 2026.
As an exception, Bagac Campus and CCST (located at Main Annex SJC) shall conduct classes through synchronous online learning to allow the necessary clearing and preparation of campus facilities.
Students and employees from Dinalupihan Campus who are affected by flooding or other conditions that may make travel difficult or unsafe shall be excused from attending their face-to-face classes or reporting onsite. They are advised to inform their respective instructors or immediate supervisors accordingly.
The University continues to closely monitor official weather bulletins and government directives. Any subsequent suspension or directive issued by the National Government shall supersede this University advisory.

In view of the Red Rainfall Warning still raised over parts of Bataan and the prevailing weather conditions affecting the province, BPSU shall implement the following arrangements on August 10-11:
-Classes shall shift to asynchronous online (modular) mode of instruction. Faculty members are reminded to provide students with ample time to accomplish academic requirements and refrain from imposing immediate deadlines, taking into consideration possible power interruptions, unstable internet connectivity, and other weather-related difficulties.
-Hospital duties, community duties, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) will shift to asynchronous online mode of instruction.
-The School of Nursing Capping and Pinning Ceremony is cancelled as scheduled and rescheduled to August 13, 2026.
-University offices shall shift to online transactions, except for personnel required to participate in the scheduled online PBB validation.
-The Health Services Unit (HSU) shall accommodate teleconsultations, while Guidance and Counseling Services shall remain available for students requiring online counseling.
The University continues to closely monitor official weather bulletins and directives from concerned government agencies.
Any subsequent suspension or directive issued by the National Government shall supersede this University advisory.

In view of the Red Rainfall Warning raised over different parts of the Province of Bataan and the prevailing weather conditions, all classes across BPSU campuses shall shift to asynchronous online learning effective 1:00 PM today, August 8, 2026.
Faculty members are reminded to provide students with ample time to accomplish and submit assigned activities and other academic requirements, taking into consideration possible difficulties brought about by the weather conditions.
