On July 14โ15, 2026, the Grade 11 students of the Pre-Baccalaureate Maritime (PBM) program of BNHSโSHS took another meaningful step toward realizing their aspirations by undergoing a mandatory medical examination in preparation for the upcoming Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Conducted under the supervision of Dra. Abryn Jeuness R. Luna, with the assistance of our school nurse, Ms. Karleen Inieto, the activity served as a vital step in assessing the overall health and physical condition of every aspirant. The PBM Fleet Officers also extended their support to ensure the smooth, orderly, and efficient conduct of the medical examination.
More than a prerequisite for the Physical Fitness Test, the medical examination reflected the importance of safeguarding the health and well-being of every future maritime student. It was carried out to determine whether each aspirant was medically fit to participate in the upcoming assessment while reinforcing the value of preventive healthcare, discipline, and personal responsibility. As future maritime professionals, physical readiness begins with good health, making this activity an essential foundation in their journey toward excellence and service.
The BNHSโSHS PBM Fleet extends its deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to Dra. Luna, for her generosity in sharing her time, knowledge, and professional expertise in ensuring the safety and welfare of our aspiring PBM students. On behalf of the entire BNHSโSHS PBM Fleet, we extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful endeavor. Your support has made a significant impact in preparing our Grade 11 students as they take another confident step toward achieving their maritime aspirations.
