To demonstrate love of country and respect for the heraldic code of the Philippines, as well as to express eagerness for another productive instructional week, the City of Balanga National High SchoolโJunior High School (COBNHSโJHS) administration together with the entire student body conducted the flag raising ceremony this morning, August 17, 2026.
Since heavy rain made it impossible to gather all students and teachers in the covered court, they conducted the flag raising ceremony inside their respective classrooms before beginning their first subjects in the morning. Only the nonโteaching personnel assembled at the covered court for the simultaneous flag raising ceremony.
After the ceremonyโs parts were recited and sung, Dr. Jennifer G. De Guzman, School Principal IV, reminded everyone of the importance of caring for the environment. She emphasized that in the face of climate change and sudden weather shifts, we must act as responsible stewards of creation, keeping our surroundings clean and green as a gift entrusted to us by the Lord.
Meanwhile, personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Bataan paid Mr. Sammy Y. Sabello, OICโAssistant Principal for Operations a visit to discuss with him their plans to conduct symposiums on essential topics that will equip students with knowledge and awareness. In terms of safety and security, they also pledged to assist and guide the schoolโs security officers, marshals, watchmen, and personnel in strengthening protective measures across the campus.
