𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄

The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training was successfully conducted for BS Tourism Management students from Cebu Normal University – Balamban Campus, showcasing their dedication and commitment to service excellence. From Batch 1 to Batch 4, the enthusiasm and professionalism of the students were evident throughout the training.

A heartfelt congratulations to the 210 BS Tourism Management students from CNU Balamban Campus who officially completed the training. This achievement reflects their readiness to embody the “Mabuhay” spirit and represent Filipino hospitality with pride on the global stage.

Under the Department of Tourism’s Tourism Industry Skills Program (TISP), the training was conducted in two schedules: February 3–4 (Batch 1 & 2) and April 20–21 (Batch 3 & 4). The program aimed to equip students with essential skills, values, and professionalism aligned with global tourism standards.

Organized by ABANSE Turismo, the training was facilitated by FBSE Trainers Dr. Evelyn Lupango and Mr. Jose Rinan S. Calunia, with Ms. Marichu Libor from the DOT Region VII – TISP Office.

Special thanks to our Tourism Dean, Dr. Clareziel D. Ladringan, for her continuous support and leadership in developing future tourism professionals.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Graduating 4th year students from 𝗦𝗧𝗠 and 𝗧𝗛𝗦𝗠 participated in a mock interview activity designed to enhance their confidence, communication skills, and readiness for real-world employment.

This initiative aims to equip future tourism professionals with practical experience and valuable insights as they prepare to enter the industry.

𝗖𝗡𝗨 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 | 𝗕𝗦𝗧𝗠 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗺 𝟮 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

On April 23, 2026, Cebu Normal University – Balamban Campus conducted the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) Practicum 2 Orientation with the presence of students and their parents.

The activity was led by the Tourism Dean, Dr. Clareziel D. Ladringan, together with the Program Chair, Ms. Cristine Joy Abarquez. The Practicum Preceptors present were Mr. Jason R. Hermosilla for THSM 3A and STM 3A, and Mrs. Ma. Luchie R. Arias for THSM 3B and STM 3B, along with Mr. Christian Jay Caballes.

The orientation aimed to provide students and parents with essential information, guidelines, and expectations for the upcoming On-the-Job Training, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their transition into professional practice.

This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to academic excellence and industry readiness among future tourism professionals.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮 | 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗙𝗕𝗦𝗘) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

On April 21, 2026, the second day of the 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗙𝗕𝗦𝗘) Training – 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟰 (𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵) at 𝗖𝗡𝗨 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 continued in collaboration with 𝗗𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗣 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀. The session further strengthened the participants’ service excellence skills, professionalism, and deeper appreciation of Filipino hospitality in the tourism industry.

On April 20, 2026 the first day of the 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗙𝗕𝗦𝗘) Training at 𝗖𝗡𝗨 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 officially commenced in collaboration with 𝗗𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗣 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀. The opening session focused on enhancing service skills, professionalism, and instilling the core values of Filipino hospitality among tourism students.
