The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training was successfully conducted for BS Tourism Management students from Cebu Normal University โ Balamban Campus, showcasing their dedication and commitment to service excellence. From Batch 1 to Batch 4, the enthusiasm and professionalism of the students were evident throughout the training.
A heartfelt congratulations to the 210 BS Tourism Management students from CNU Balamban Campus who officially completed the training. This achievement reflects their readiness to embody the โMabuhayโ spirit and represent Filipino hospitality with pride on the global stage.
Under the Department of Tourismโs Tourism Industry Skills Program (TISP), the training was conducted in two schedules: February 3โ4 (Batch 1 & 2) and April 20โ21 (Batch 3 & 4). The program aimed to equip students with essential skills, values, and professionalism aligned with global tourism standards.
Organized by ABANSE Turismo, the training was facilitated by FBSE Trainers Dr. Evelyn Lupango and Mr. Jose Rinan S. Calunia, with Ms. Marichu Libor from the DOT Region VII โ TISP Office.
Special thanks to our Tourism Dean, Dr. Clareziel D. Ladringan, for her continuous support and leadership in developing future tourism professionals.

On April 23, 2026, Cebu Normal University โ Balamban Campus conducted the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) Practicum 2 Orientation with the presence of students and their parents.
The activity was led by the Tourism Dean, Dr. Clareziel D. Ladringan, together with the Program Chair, Ms. Cristine Joy Abarquez. The Practicum Preceptors present were Mr. Jason R. Hermosilla for THSM 3A and STM 3A, and Mrs. Ma. Luchie R. Arias for THSM 3B and STM 3B, along with Mr. Christian Jay Caballes.
The orientation aimed to provide students and parents with essential information, guidelines, and expectations for the upcoming On-the-Job Training, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their transition into professional practice.
This initiative reflects the universityโs commitment to academic excellence and industry readiness among future tourism professionals.
