A Heartfelt Teachers’ Day Celebration

Teachers’ Day at Balabagan National High School was filled with love, appreciation, and gratitude. ❤️ Heartfelt thanks to School Campus Officers and to all BNHS students for their thoughtful surprises and efforts in making this day special.

The teachers also prepared a simple surprise for their dear School Head as a gesture of appreciation for the guidance, support, and kindness extended to them throughout the year. 🤍

Heartfelt gratitude as well to ma’am Joy Sampiano for her generosity, especially the cash gift and the wonderful treat. The teachers truly enjoyed the food, laughter, and time shared together. The thoughtfulness of ma’am joy means so much to all of the teachers.

Indeed, moments like these remind everyone that every sacrifice and effort is worth it. 🌷

PEACE AND LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2026

Balabagan National High School proudly took part in the Peace and Leadership Summit 2026, organized by the Division of Lanao Sur II on September 19, 2026.

Representing the school were three dedicated student leaders from the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), and Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), accompanied by their teacher-adviser.

The student-leaders was led and guided by Ma’am Naimah A. Minandang, YFD Adviser, who provided support and encouragement throughout the event.

The summit offered a meaningful platform for leadership development and peace advocacy, equipping participants with valuable knowledge and practical insights. Through the inspiring discussion of the resource speaker, Kuya Lee, students gained a deeper understanding of peace education, conflict prevention, and the importance of resolving disagreements through dialogue, understanding, and mutual respect before they develop into larger conflicts.

Beyond the learning sessions, the afternoon activities provided an engaging opportunity for participants to interact with fellow student leaders from various schools, districts, and municipalities across the Division of Lanao Sur II.

Through fun-filled parlor games, team-building exercises, and collaborative activities, students strengthened their communication skills, built new friendships, and cultivated a spirit of unity and cooperation. These experiences encouraged cultural appreciation, mutual understanding, and teamwork among the youth.

The Peace and Leadership Summit 2026 served as a transformative experience that empowered young leaders to become ambassadors of peace, responsible citizenship, and positive change. The event reinforced the vital role of the youth in promoting harmony, understanding, and inclusive leadership within their schools, communities, and society as a whole.

JOINT IN-SERVICE TRAINING (INSET)

Theme:
“Strengthening Teaching Competence, School Leadership and Learner-Centered Practices for Quality Basic Education”

Led by Jowerrah Joy S. Camid, the educators of Balabagan National High School actively joined the Joint In-Service Training (INSET) on September 17, 2026, at RC Spring Resort, Balabagan—alongside fellow secondary school educators across the municipality.

With Dr. Caroline T. Marohom, CID Chief, as the resource speaker, the training provided meaningful opportunities for teachers to enhance their teaching competencies, strengthen instructional practices, and share effective strategies for learner-centered education.

Through continuous learning and collaboration, teachers remain committed to providing quality, inclusive, and meaningful learning experiences for every learner.

📚 Setyembre 17–18, 2026 – Ipatutupad ang Asynchronous Learning Modality. Ang mga mag-aaral ay bibigyan ng mga learning activities na maaaring gawin sa bahay o sa sariling oras, nang hindi kinakailangang pumasok sa paaralan.

🏫 Setyembre 21, 2026 – Babalik ang regular na face-to-face classes, maliban kung may panibagong kautusan.
