The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Bagtangan ES undertakings ( Part 1)

- *Team Formation*: Learners come together to form teams, each with their own set of officers.
- *Platform Presentation*: Each team presents their platform, which outlines their goals, objectives, and plans for the school year. This is usually done during a campaign period, where teams showcase their ideas and convince their fellow learners to vote for them.
- *Election*: The learners then cast their votes for their preferred team and officers. The individual running for the position, with the most votes wins the election.

The SELG election is usually conducted annually, usually done before the School year end.

Our midwife, Ma'am Jhercy S. Palayen, recently conducted an informative session for the iBagtangan Learners on the "4 S" strategy in combating dengue. She emphasized the importance of:

1.Search and Destroy - Eliminating potential mosquito breeding sites.
2.Self-Protection Measures - Taking steps to protect oneself from mosquito bites.
3.Seek Early Consultation - Consulting healthcare professionals at the first sign of dengue symptoms.
4.Support and Spraying /Fogging

These reminders are crucial in our ongoing fight against dengue.
