Ampusongan Elementary School celebrated major and multiple wins at the Pan- Aspulan 2026 on July 17,2026, held at the Wangal Sports Complex.The school secured the 2nd place over all in the small school category for the Brigada Eskwela Digital Feature Award.
Other awards in the different sub contest are:
1st place- Brigada Eskwela Innovation Award
1st Place- Brigada Eskwela Communication and Advocacy Award
2nd Place- BE Green and Beautification Award
2nd Place- BE On-site and Showcase Award
Finalist- BE Community Impact Award and Brigada Pagbasa and Learning Support Award
The award was received by Vilma E. Balaodan,the school principal together with PSDS Marilyn W. Zarate .

Ampusongan ES started the School Based Feeding Program( SBFP) this day to 49 beneficiaries from kinder and Grade 1 .The SBFP funded by the DepEd primarily aims to combat malnutrition and encourage pupils to attend school.In the implementation of the program,the HPTA of kinder and Grade 1 volunteered to do the cooking and serving in a scheduled basis.The SBFP targets atleast 120 to 150 days of implementation.

In a pro active step toward cultivating safer educational spaces, elements of Bakun Municipal Police Station(MPS) ,led by Acting Chief of Police Robert W. Velasco,joined the Flag Raising Ceremony on July 6,2026 ,to spearhead an inter active awareness drive in promoting a friendly school atmosphere.
Addressing the pupils body during the assembly,sir Velasco imparted crucial guidelines on anti- bullying measures aligned with the Anti- Bullying Act of 2013( RA 10627). The activity aims to intensify the Child Protection Program to foster safety of every learner and promote consistent daily attendance .
