Look! 🌱 On August 1, Bacong Holy Family High School, Inc. kicked off Nutrition Month with a dynamic celebration focused on the importance of making healthy food choices. Students, teachers, and staff came together to participate in a variety of fun activities, from hands-on food prep sessions to engaging discussions about nutrition's impact on our health and well-being. It was an exciting opportunity to learn how small changes in our eating habits can lead to lasting benefits. With everyone’s enthusiasm and dedication, this year’s celebration was a true reminder that good nutrition is the key to both academic and personal success. 🍎💪

Students, faculty, and staff of Bacong Holy Family High School, Inc. turned back in time during our vibrant Acquaintance Party with the dazzling theme, “Stay groovy, make memories, and let the good times roll!” The campus came alive with sequins, bell bottoms, and disco beats as everyone embraced the spirit of the '70s and '80s. With colorful outfits and electric dance moves, the event wasn’t just a party—it was a living tribute to an unforgettable era of music, fun, and community.

Held under the bright daylight, the celebration was a perfect mix of nostalgia and new connections. From dazzling performances to friendly games and shared laughter, the disco-themed event offered everyone a chance to bond, express their inner groove, and make memories that will shine brighter than a disco ball. 💃🕺 Let the rhythm of friendship keep rolling all year long!

Exploring the sustainable energy at Energy Development Corporation (EDC)! 🌱⚡️

The Grade 12 students of Bacong Holy Family High School, Inc. went on an enlightening educational trip to Palinpinon Substation 1, operated by the Energy Development Corporation (EDC). This ground-breaking geothermal energy facility has been a vital component of the nation's sustainable energy providing electricity to Visayas, Luzon, and Mindanao. Energy Development Corporation is the largest producer of geothermal energy in the Philippines and the second largest in the world.

The trip was not only informative but also inspiring, showing us how science, technology, and environmental stewardship can come together to make a difference. It was a great opportunity to deepen our understanding of energy sustainability and the importance of renewable resources in protecting our environment.

A huge thank you to EDC for sharing their wealth of knowledge. We left with a greater appreciation for the work that goes into ensuring a cleaner, greener future.

The faculty and staff and a few selected students of Bacong Holy Family High School, Inc. reach out to the community of Bajumpandan, Dumaguete, Negros Oriental through an inspiring outreach program. We are deeply grateful for the generosity and commitment of everyone who contributed to the success of our outreach program. This outreach program was made possible with the help of Barangay Captain Orlando B. Enquig, the Barangay Captain of Bajumpadan, Dumaguete, Negros Oriental.

The smiles on each of everyone's faces says it all that truly in times of need, God will provide.
