Hurray! The JLAX Athletes shine bright during the recently concluded Bais City Division Athletic Meet, Saturday, December 13, 2025.

The JLAX Basketball team, stands out as they consistently win against different opponents during the tournament and even in the championships.

On the other hand, Jayden Maraon and Israel Contad have proven themselves victorious as they successfully won in Hurdles and Javelin Throw respectively.

'JLAX Leads Q2 SMEA Collaboration'



Javier Laxina I Memorial High School (JLAX) successfully led the Quarter 2 School Monitoring Evaluation and Adjustment (SMEA), today, December 1, 2025.

The parents, teaching staff and the SSLG Officers actively joined the said conference. All are working together to review the school’s progress for the second quarter which highlights student's performance, teachers accomplishments and the interventions done to mitigate various concerns/issues.

Collaboration was evident during the said conference, since parents, teachers and students freely shared their insights and suggestions to further enhance school performance.

Thus, the school extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the 2nd quarter SMEA a success. To God be the highest glory!

'JLAX Students Receive Immunizations'



The Grade 7 students of Javier Laxina I Memorial HIgh School, received immunization on tetanus and measles, Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the school stage.

The said immunization was carried out by the school health coordinator and City Health personnel. Teachers and staff helped organize the students, ensuring the process was smooth and orderly.

Furthermore, the program aims to protect students from common diseases and promote a healthy school community. As the saying goes, "health is wealth."

Hurray! The basketball team of Javier Laxina I Memorial High School secured a spot in City Athletic Meet, as they were declared champion in the basketball game on the recently concluded Cluster-Based Athletic Meet on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

The said game was tough, yet they showed the spirit of camaraderie and unity.Congratulations to all of you and to their coach, Mr. Bengie Jemino. Keep it up 'JLAXIANS! 💪

Hats off! Romar Patrocenio and Hazent Rey Cababao ranked 6th on the recently concluded 3rd Provincial Wildlife Quiz Bowl held at Bayawan National High School, today, November 7, 2025.

The said quiz bowl consists of 18 divisions in the province of Negros Oriental, yet the two young 'JLAXIANS, Patrocenio and Cababao outshined as they placed 6th in the competition. We salute both of you.

Javier Laxina I Memorial High School successfully administered the Negros Island Metric For Academic Proficiency (NIRMAP) from November 10-11, 2025.

The said NIRMAP was conducted to evaluate students' performance and learning outcomes across different learning areas. The result of this examination can be used to analyze student data and make informed decisions for school improvement and educational development.

'JLAX Successfully Completes 2nd Periodic Test'

The learners of Javier Laxina I Memorial High School successfully completed 2nd Periodic Test, on Friday, October 24, 2025.

The said examination started on time as the students and teachers adhered to the given protocols ensuring that the examination was smoothly completed. Likewise, the periodic test was done to measure student's achievement encompassing the different competencies on the different subjects.

Thus, the school commends both teachers and students for ensuring the successful and organized conduct of the 2nd Periodic Test.
