Schools Division of Bais City host Division-Wide Safety Drill

To strengthen campus security and disaster preparedness, the DepEd Schools Division of Bais City, led by Dr. Bernadette Susvilla, conducted a Division-Wide Safety Drill, with Bais City National High School serving as the ceremonial venue.

The comprehensive training was facilitated by Police Lieutenant (PLT) Rayne Blessy A. Quiliope alongside personnel from the Bais City Police Station (PNP Bais), in close coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO). Together, they equipped students, faculty, and staff with essential emergency response protocols, including practical evacuation techniques and crisis management strategies. School leadership emphasized that disaster readiness is a shared responsibility vital to maintaining a safe learning environment.

This exercise underscores the continuous collaboration between DepEd Bais City, local law enforcement, and emergency response agencies to build secure, emergency-ready schools.

Parents, teachers, and school administrators gathered at the Bais City National High School (BCNHS) covered court today for the General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) Meeting, led by GPTA President Mr. Tenchavez focusing on aligning school initiatives with parental support to enhance student welfare and campus facilities for the ongoing academic year.

Rolling into Literacy: BCNHS Transforms Old Car into the Ultimate Mobile Reading Lounge

As a response to the school library’s limited space and growing need for accessible reading areas the BCNHS Library in a Car: “Sakay na sa Ating Biyahe ng Kaalaman” is launched. It is an initiative designed to address the insufficient library space at Bais City National High School, which limits the number of learners who can comfortably study, read, research, and participate in library-related activities at the same time.

The project will convert a dilapidated school vehicle into an innovative and functional learning space, providing additional room for learners who cannot be accommodated in the main library. It aims to promote a culture of reading, research, and independent learning by offering students a comfortable and engaging alternative space where they can learn while enjoying a refreshing environment beyond the traditional library.

Young writers from Bais City National High School shared their skills at their school press event on campus. Students practiced finding facts, telling real stories, and working together. The top writers will now represent the school in the upcoming Division School Level Press Conference.

Miral takes Miss High School 2026 Title, Baena named 1st Runner Up

In an exciting event full of talent, leadership, and school spirit, Mitch Lianne Miral won the Miss High School 2026: Alliance title.

Miral shined on stage and took home several top awards, including Best in Production Number, Miss Photogenic, Best in Interview and Advocacy and Best in Filipiniana.

Johann Baena also did great, taking home 1st Runner Up, the Best in School Uniform award and Mister Photogenic.

This year's contest wasn't just about looks. It also focused on hard work in school, helping the community, and bringing the school alliance together.

Organizers shared that every contestant showed great passion, hard work, and school pride.

Congratulations to all the winners! We can't wait to see the good things you do for our school this coming year.
