Mayor Praxedes P. Villanueva II Memorial High School is located in Brgy. Tamisu, Bais City, Negros Oriental under Region 7.

It offers Junior High School from Grade 7 to 10 and Senior High School from Grade 11 to 12 under the Academic Track. In accordance with the Department of Education's (DepEd) mandate to protect and promote the right to and access to quality basic education, DepEd collects various data and information, including personal information from various subjects using different systems. In the processing of

these data and information, DepEd is committed to ensure the free flow of information as required under the freedom of Information Act (Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016) and to protect and respect the confidentiality and privacy of these data and information as required under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Personal Information are collected and processed for legitimate purposes only to facilitate faster delivery of services under the DepEd mandate, and shall be stored and protected in accordance with existing government rules and regulations.

Our school successfully conducted the National CPR Day Orientation to equip grade 11 and 12 learners, school personnel and stakeholders with essential knowledge on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the importance of responding effectively during emergencies.

The orientation was facilitated by our very competent teacher, Mrs. Irene M. Amazon, who earned a degree in Nursing before pursuing her career in education. Her knowledge and experience in the healthcare field provided valuable insights, making the session both informative and engaging for everyone.

Today, our school actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to strengthen disaster preparedness and promote safety awareness among learners, teachers, and school personnel.

Through this activity, we practiced the proper earthquake response procedure—Duck, Cover, and Hold—to ensure readiness during emergencies. Together, we continue to build a safer and more resilient school community.

Our learners took part in the Phil-IRI Group Screening Test (GST) Beginning of School Year. This assessment serves as an important step in identifying learners' reading levels and providing the support they need to become better readers.
