📍 JLT HI STUDES EXERCISE RIGHT TO VOTE 📍

In order to exercise the right to vote, JLT Hi students took part in the 2023 SSLG Elections on June 08, 2023 at the Computer Laboratory. The elections started at 8:30 and ended at around 11:35 A.M. Leading the COMELEC are Alexis Dumahil and Nicolas Jr. Ortega, both from Gr. 12 Opal. They were assisted by selected outgoing SSLG officers and some faculty members. After all votes have been casted, Angelieka Marie Ablay from Y.O.U.T.H. Partylist emerged as winner in the presidency battle while Riza Mae Torres of L.E.A.D. Partylist was proclaimed as the new SSLG VP.

📍 JLT HI HOLDS MITING DE AVANCE 📍

A day before the SSLG Elections 2023, students of JLT Hi gathered themselves for this year's Miting de Avance. With the current SSLG Adviser, Mrs. Belinda T. Antecristo and incoming Adviser, Mrs. Jessa C. Villacampa, official candidates under Y.O.U.T.H. & L.E.A.D. partylists shared their thoughts and opinions on questions and queries raised. The activity also served as platform for our aspiring student-leaders to be heard, as well as convince the student body to be with them in their respective causes and advocacies. With the conduct of the Miting de Avance, it is expected that student-voters shall have more concrete basis as to whom they will cast their votes for.

📍 L.E.A.D. & Y.O.U.T.H. PARTYLISTS HOLD FIRST PUBLIC CAMPAIGN📍

Following the filing of COCs, official candidates for SSLG Elections 2023 under L.E.A.D. & Y.O.U.T.H. Partylists made their official public campaign on June 05, 2023. The said undertaking happened right after the flag raising ceremony. The L.E.A.D. (Leaders for Equality, Action, and Development), as well as the Y.O.U.T.H. (Young Optimists United Towards Heroism) Partylist presented their respective platforms to the whole student body. Julianne Marie Ambos and Angelieka Marie Ablay spearheaded the activity. With the enthusiasm and drive shown by our aspiring SSLG officers, surely JLT Hi will have its brilliant group of student-leaders for S.Y. 2023-2024.

Days before the SSLG Elections 2023, aspiring student-leaders of Gov. Julian L. Teves MHS filed their respective COCs on Monday, June 05, 2023. Julianne Marie Ambos of Gr. 11 Diamond led the filing of L.E.A.D. Partylist, with Riza Mae Torres as her VP. Meanwhile, Angelieka Marie Ablay, also a Gr. 11 student, served as flag bearer for Y.O.U.T.H. Partylist, hand-in-hand with her VP, Angel Mae Alfonso. Present during the filing of COCs are Mrs. Belinda T. Antecristo, current SSLG Adviser and Mrs. Jessa C. Villacampa, incoming adviser for S.Y. 2023-2024. The SSLG Elections 2023 of JLT Hi is set on June 08, 2023.
