A meaningful morning filled with proud smiles and appreciation as Calasga-an Elementary School held its Portfolio and Card Day.

The activity gave our dear parents and guardians an opportunity to witness the progress of their children through their portfolios, receive their report cards, and have meaningful conversations with their teachers.

Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng naging bahagi ng matagumpay na pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan. Lubos naming pinahahalagahan ang dedikasyon at pagsisikap nina Gng. Amilen J. Bitong, Filipino Coordinator, at Gng. Nilfa G. Buquiran, AP Coordinator, sa pangunguna at pagsasakatuparan ng mga makabuluhang programa at patimpalak.
Maraming salamat din sa lahat ng mga kalahok na buong husay at puso na ipinamalas ang kanilang talento at pagmamahal sa ating wika at kasaysayan. At isang mainit na pagbati sa lahat ng mga nagwagi!
Nawa'y patuloy nating pahalagahan, mahalin, at ipagmalaki ang ating sariling wika at mayamang kasaysayan bilang mga Pilipino.

Calasga-an Elementary School proudly conducted the School Level Press Conference (SLPC) 2026 under the leadership and guidance of the School Journalism Coordinator, Mrs. Gazelle A. Paciente.
The event showcased the talents, skills, and creativity of our young campus journalists in various journalism categories. Through this activity, learners were given the opportunity to develop their communication skills, critical thinking, and passion for responsible journalism.

Ikatlong Linggo ng Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ipinagdiwang ng mga mag-aaral at kawani ng paaralan ang ikatlong linggo sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng kanilang mga pang-etnikong kasuotan. Ipinakita nila nang may pagmamalaki ang makukulay at natatanging kasuotan na sumasalamin sa mayamang kultura, tradisyon, at pagkakakilanlan ng iba't ibang pangkat etniko sa Pilipinas.

Ang gawaing ito ay naglalayong mapaigting ang pagpapahalaga sa ating kultura at pamana, gayundin ang paglinang ng pagmamahal at paggalang sa wikang Filipino at sa iba pang katutubong wika ng bansa.

Tunay ngang ang kasuotan ay salamin ng ating pagkakakilanlan, at ang kultura ay yaman na dapat nating ipagmalaki at pagyamanin.

Ensuring Healthy Learners, Building a Brighter Future

For two days, the Bais City Division Health Personnel successfully conducted the Mandatory Learners' Health Assessment and Screening (LHAS) and OK sa DepEd Program at Calasga-an Elementary School. This initiative aims to ensure, maintain, and deliver quality health services to both learners and teachers.

Calasga-an Elementary School extends its sincere appreciation to the dedicated health personnel, especially Dr. Lynn R. Demandante and Nurse Pearl Dioneth C. Piñero, for their unwavering commitment, professionalism, and compassionate service. Their efforts reflect the shared mission of the Department of Education to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of every learner and educator.

Indeed, healthy learners are better learners. By investing in health programs and preventive care, we help create an environment where every child can learn, grow, and succeed.
