Public High School Tagudtud National High School is situated at the mountaintop of Tagudtud, Bagulin, La Union, 8.5kms. away from the Poblacion.

It is serving the cultural communities in its neighboring barangays. Tagudtud National High School which was then called Tagudtud Barrio High School was organized and opened in School year 1971-1972 with barely more than 10 students and two teachers. Its classrooms started in the ground floor of a residential house. Due to its additional classroom needs, the high school had to move to the elementa

ry compound occupying the vacant rooms of the elementary buildings. In 1973-1974, Tagudtud Barrio High School was renamed then to Tagudtud Barangay High School. The school assumed its continuous operation until it became a complete Barangay High School in S.Y. 1974-1975 and joined the bandwagon of National High Schools in 1990. The school being the heart of the formal educational system as well as the center of learning offers the kind of educational progress, projects, and services the students, parents, and community deserve to have. The parents and the community are encouraged for active participation and involvement in the education of the children. In this case, the local school boards, PTA, NGOs, and civic-minded citizens are maximized. Volunteerism from among the stakeholders of the school is encouraged in order to build up strong foundation of learning.

Today, we’re happy and excited to welcome Sir Joey as he officially joins our school. He was accompanied by our Division and District officials Sir German Flora - Division Curriculum Implementation Supervisor, Sir Ryanbille R. Cabading - Education Program Supervisor (Bagulin) and Sir Artemio Florendo Jr. - Bagulin District Supervisor — together with the school heads from Bagulin District, Principals from Naguilian Cluster and as well as his relatives and friends.

Our school community, led by our current OIC Sir Dario Sallatic, along with our PTA presidents, teachers, and non-teaching staff, warmly welcomed Sir Joey. 😇
