Time is not a measure compared to the lengths in which our beloved dean, Doctor John Anthony Domantay, expressed his unwavering support and warm welcome to the pioneer batch of APMed.

We are grateful for the opportunities to learn from you and to be inspired by you. Our journey started with you, and we will carry on, forever grateful for your legacy that paved the way for dreams to be realized.

We will miss you. May you rest in peace. 🕊

We are deeply saddened by the passing of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐀. 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐲, Dean of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine (SLU SOM), whose distinguished leadership strengthened medical education and whose profound commitment to our students, faculty, and community touched so many. More than an exceptional leader, he was a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿, a 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and a 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Our thoughts and prayers of strength are with Dr. John’s family, loved ones, and all who had the opportunity to know him. May they find comfort in the memories of Dr. John’s gracious life.

APPLICATION FOR APMed (Accelerated Pathway for Medicine) PROGRAM for Academic Year 2026-2027

The application period for the APMed program will be from February 16 up to February 27, 2026.

Note: This is a separate procedure with a different set of requirements from those of the SLU College Entrance Examination (CEE). This procedure is only for those who selected APMed as their program when they applied for the SLU CEE.

𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 | 𝐀𝐏𝐌𝐞𝐝 𝐈 𝐛𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐲𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫🎄

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖, APMed I concluded their grueling four-day final examinations with a simple 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒐 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝒈𝒊𝒇𝒕 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 that included themes of hard, soft, long, sweet, embarrassing, and colorful.

The semester was filled with new people that turned into lifetime friendships, consecutive workload that made us into better students, exciting activities that tested our time management, and unending lessons, in and out of the classroom, that foster us into versions of ourselves that can face the next challenges with sharper minds and stronger hearts.

Take all the rest you need this break! Hug your family, eat that home-cooked meal, and reflect on the blessings hidden in disguise this year. 💫

Let this pause be where tired hearts finally exhale. 🌙 May rest find you where deadlines once did, and may quiet moments softly remind you of the dreams that started it all. 🌱 Allow joy to return without guilt, passion to bloom without pressure, and hope to rise again. When we meet the next chapter, may we do so renewed, rekindled, and ready to
begin again. ✨

𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐊𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐎? | APMed-I proudly took center stage at the CC, D.D. Sports Center Court, setting the dance floor ablaze with their powerful and lively hip hop routine at the Inter PE Competition.

Weeks of 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 came to life with every sharp move and confident step, emitting the unmistakable 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 and the passion for 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

Their hip hop routine featured catchy songs like “Crazy in Love” by Beyonce, “Baile” by Rochelle Pangilinan ft. Gloc 9, “Meron Akong Ano!” by Francis Magalona, and “Santa Doesn’t Know You Like I Do” by Sabrina Carpenter.

The 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 (APMed) students danced with grace and strength as they performed in this years 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 at the 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐆𝐲𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦, last 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

After days of relentless practice, you have showed integrity and prowess performing your routine. May this competition be a reminder that the path of medicine is not always linear as we train to be 7 star physician.
