๐Ÿ‘‘ King of the Road, Pedestrians First! ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Every day, thousands of students, workers, and residents walk the streets of Baguio City through crossing roads and busy intersections๐Ÿ’จ. This daily movement comes with a shared responsibility: to keep our roads safe for everyone.๐Ÿ“ข๐Ÿค

In response, the SC190 class of A.Y. โ€˜25 -โ€˜26 strengthens its commitment to pedestrian safety through the โ€œKing of the Roadโ€ Ordinance (Ordinance No. O7, Series of 2010)๐Ÿšฆ โ€“ a guiding rule that reminds us that roads are not just for vehicles, but for people first. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

Baguio Cityโ€™s streets are shared spaces, and every pedestrian has the right to walk safely, confidently, and without fear.โœ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ›‘ The ordinance isnโ€™t just a rule, itโ€™s a movement that puts people over pace, safety, and care. It encourages pedestrians to use proper lanes and designated crossings, promoting shared responsibility for safer roads.

โœจ Together, letโ€™s build a culture of respect and responsibility on Baguioโ€™s roadsโ€”because when we put pedestrians first, we put lives first.

MAGKAISA SA PANDAIGDIGANG ARAW NG PAGGAWA! SUMAMA SA MAYO UNO! โœŠ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ”ป

We, the undersigned student institutions, youth formations, and individuals of the University of the Philippines Baguio, firmly call for safeguarding the UPB community amidst the worsening oil price hikes and economic crisis.

We stand in solidarity with the drivers, workers, and students who bear the brunt of imperialist wars of aggression and a deregulated tax system that prioritizes profit over lives.

โœŠ Defend student welfare
โœŠ Junk the Oil Deregulation Law
โœŠ Remove VAT and excise tax on oil

BE A PARTNER ORGANIZATION AND VOLUNTEER FOR !

Beep, beep! Tara, tara!

In the recent days, we've seen how the people of Baguio and Benguet come together in response to the worsening oil and transport crisis in our country. Up to this day, various initiatives are popping up amid the slow and inefficient response of the national government.

Fellow youth, let's come together as one! Be a partner organization and volunteer.

We'll be having a volunteer orientation and meeting on April 11, 6 PM via Zoom to discuss collaborations and actions. To join, register at: bit.ly/KasiyanaTranspo
