Before we officially say goodbye to April, PAGTA extends its greetings to our members who celebrated yet another year this month.

PAGTA-UPB joins in commemorating the 42nd Peoples’ Cordillera Day: “Ipinget ti Karbengan iti Daga, Biag, ken Kabiagan!” (Assert Our Right to Land, Life, and Livelihood)

This day, we honor our region’s historical journey in protecting land and life, rooted in the brave stand of Macliing Dulag against the Chico Dam project. As we remember, may we continue to move forward with commitment to community and self-determination.

𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝘽𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨!

Before the month ends, we wish to extend our warmest greetings to our members who celebrated their birthdays this month. Thank you for choosing to be part of our PAGTA family, and for your valuable contributions to our organization. We wish you all the best in your endeavors, know that PAGTA will always be here to share more laughter and joy.

Tara’t panoorin ang kuwentong isasalaysay ni Apo Isyang, kasama sina D**g, Kabu at Dena mula sa mga kabundukan ng Balbalan, Kalinga. ⛰🍃☀️

Inihahandog ng Dulaang UP Baguio at Paggawisan Tako Am-In (PAGTA) ang “𝙆𝙖𝙪𝙗-𝙤𝙛𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙇𝙞𝙟𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙐𝙩𝙖𝙝,” isang makabuluhang pagtatanghal ng kwentong pambata ni awtor-ilustrador Danielle V. Florendo, sa direksyon nina Markneel Balgos at Eirene June Taclobao. 🌄

Tampok ang mga piling mag-aaral, g**o, at alumni ng University of the Philippines Baguio.

Inihahandog ng Dulaang UP Baguio, katuwang ang Paggawisan Tako Am-In (PAGTA Official) at sa pakikipagtulungan ng UPB Committee on Culture and the Arts at UPB Kasarian Gender Studies Program ang “𝙆𝙖𝙪𝙗-𝙤𝙛𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙇𝙞𝙟𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙐𝙩𝙖𝙝” (Ang Alamat ng Kuweba ng Utah), isang adaptasyong pang-entablado mula sa aklat pambata ni Danielle Florendo na nilikha kasama ang komunidad ng Balbalan, Kalinga. 🌿

Isasalaysay nito ang kuwento ng batang si D**glajenan mula sa Salogsog at at ang pagtatagpo nila ni Kabungian na hango sa isang bersiyon ng alamat ng Kuweba ng Utah. Bibigyang-buhay sa entablado ang mga sayaw at elementong kultural ng komunidad bilang pagdakila sa ating katutubong pamana at mga kuwentong-bayan. Makakasama sa pagtatanghal ang piling mga mag-aaral, g**o, at katuwang na mga artista at manggagawang pangkultura ng Unibersidad ng Pilipinas Baguio.
