𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 • 𝗦𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

With the resumption of classes today, safety remained at the forefront as our Hillsiders returned to their learning routines.

The school also conducted the SPTA Meeting under the guidance of our School Head, Sir Benjie Melchor L. Nicolas, and led by our SPTA President, Ma’am Rosemarie Labonete, reinforcing the meaningful partnership among the school, parents, and stakeholders in promoting a safe, prepared, and supportive learning environment.

As part of this continuing partnership, we extend our sincere appreciation to our SPTA President for her generous support to our school through the donation of 11 boxes of face masks for our school personnel and learners, as well as cellphone holders/ Wooden Mobile Phone Storage Box for every section.

These thoughtful contributions reflect the shared responsibility and spirit of cooperation in supporting the needs of our school and strengthening our commitment to the safety and well-being of our learners and personnel.

Classes are scheduled to resume tomorrow,
AUGUST 24, 2026, Monday. However, everyone is advised to stay updated for any official advisory from the Office of the City Mayor regarding possible suspension of classes.

Across the Cordillera, it reflects a long-standing tradition of neighbors working together and sharing responsibility, especially in times of need. It embodies the Cordilleran spirit of coming together, lending a hand, and lifting one another up because when the community moves as one, no challenge is too great.

As heavy rainfall and challenging weather conditions affected our community, the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Team of Hillside National High School was activated to closely monitor the situation, ensure the safety and cleanliness of our school throughout the tough weather conditions and assess its readiness for the safe resumption of classes.

As our learners return to school today, our advisers and School Head also took time to check on their well-being, listen to their concerns, and provide reassurance after the difficult weather conditions. Our School Head also took time to check on the welfare of our school personnel.

In view of the latest weather advisories indicating the termination of active thunderstorm warnings, there is currently no recommendation for the suspension of classes.

FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES WILL PROCEED IN ALL LEVELS, both public and private schools tomorrow, August 12, 2026 except Happy Hollow Elementary School, which has suspended face-to-face classes temporarily due to current unavailability.
