Fort Del Pilar NHS Math Club S.Y. 2024-2025 The FDPNHS Mathematics Club is dedicated to helping learners improve their understanding and appreciation of mathematics.

Its primary goal is to provide extra support and resources that make learning math both enjoyable and successful. Through study groups, peer tutoring, and collaborative learning, the club encourages academic achievement and helps learners excel in their math classes. It focuses on enhancing problem-solving skills by engaging learners in fun and challenging activities, puzzles, and projects. The cl

ub also strives to build confidence by creating a positive and supportive environment where learners can practice and improve their math abilities. By connecting math to real-life situations and careers, the club aims to make learning more relevant and interesting. In addition to academic growth, the club offers opportunities for learners to develop leadership and teamwork through organizing math events and participating in math competitions at various levels. These activities foster a spirit of friendly competition and school pride. The club’s approach also supports the holistic development of learners, aligning with the goals of Youth Formation. Math Club Booth Officialy Launches Today

Today, December 10, 2024, the FDPNHS Math Club officially launched and set up its booth as part of the school’s celebration of its 3rd Founding Anniversary. The booth is called "Math Club Customized Memorabilia and Christmas Cards Corner." This initiative, spearheaded by the FDPNHS SSLG, will operate from December 10 to 20.

The booth sells personalized items like acrylic keychains, button pins, vinyl stickers, tote bags, T-shirts, and handmade Christmas cards. These items are made with care and showcase the creativity of the Math Club officers and their adviser. Learners are allowed to buy only during their break times, such as recess and lunch.

This event celebrates the school’s establishment as an independent public high school in Baguio City on December 10, 2021.

With this, the Math Club invites everyone to visit their booth and support their work. Purchasing these items is a wonderful way to celebrate this special day. Proceeds will support the Math Club’s proposed project of painting the stairs leading to Alumni Hill with math-related concepts and formula.

Math 10 Wizards Prepare for Division Competition

FDPNHS Grade 10 learners are getting ready for the upcoming division competition in Problem-Based Mathematical Investigation. Both individual and team participants are focusing on how math is used in games and the symmetry found in geometry.

They are exploring how games involve math strategies, while also learning how symmetry appears in nature and shapes. These activities help them understand math better and see how it applies to real life.

With teamwork and problem-solving, the Math 10 Wizards are excited to show their skills and represent the school in the competition.
