Magandang araw sa ating lahat! Ngayong Agosto, ipinagdiriwang natin ang Buwan ng Wika na nakatuon sa papel ng Wikang Filipino at Artificial Intelligence (AI) sa makabuluhang pananaliksik. Isang paalala na habang yumayakap tayo sa makabagong teknolohiya, tiyakin pa rin natin ang responsableng paggamit nito para sa bayan. Sama-sama nating ipagmalaki ang ating wika sa pamamagitan ng mga inihandang aktibidad ng SINAG Kabataan (Samahan ng Inisyatibong Nagpapalaganap ng Akademiko at Galing)!

𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘-𝗧𝗢-𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗡𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦
August 3, 2026 - Monday

Upon the recommendation of the Department of Education (DepEd) – Baguio Schools Division, Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes in Baguio City from PRESCHOOL to GRADE 12 (both public and private institutions) beginning 12:00 noon today, August 3, 2026, due to the effects of Tropical Depression Luis.

The suspension is in response to Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 4 issued by PAGASA, indicating that Tropical Depression Luis is bringing light to moderate, and at times heavy, rainfall over the Province of Benguet, including Baguio City.

Pursuant to Department of Education Order No. 22, s. 2026 on Localized or Granular Face-to-Face Class Suspension, affected public schools shall implement their Learning and Service Continuity Plan (LSCP) to ensure the continuity of learning and the delivery of essential services.

The public is advised to continue monitoring official announcements from the City Government of Baguio, PAGASA, and DepEd for further updates.

Please stay safe and exercise caution, especially when traveling in areas affected by heavy rainfall.
