Guided by the timeless spirit of Bayanihan, the MUYANG Organization actively participated in the annual Brigada Eskwela institutional cleanup and maintenance drive at Fairview Elementary School on June 4, 2026. The adviser, officers, and members of our organization worked closely alongside dedicated educators, parents, and community volunteers to refurbish, clean, and prepare the campus facilities, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and conducive learning environment for pupils this academic year. Recognizing that holistic education goes hand-in-hand with student health and wellness, our organization also facilitated the turnover of essential hygiene supplies. Through a collaborative partnership, we assisted in the distribution of soaps provided by the University of the Cordilleras (UC) Project H.E.L.E.N. under its โBubbles of Careโ initiative. This contribution aims to reinforce proper handwashing practices and promote health literacy among elementary learners upon their return to school.
We extend our highest commendations and deepest gratitude to the University of the Cordilleras Project H.E.L.E.N. for its unwavering generosity and shared commitment to community welfare. Furthermore, we express our sincere appreciation to the faculty and administration of Fairview Elementary School, led by School Head Dr. Freda Dayog, for opening their doors and allowing us to contribute to this meaningful community endeavor.
As we look forward to this new school year, our organization remains steadfast in its mission to collaborate with key educational stakeholders. Together, we continue to build safer, healthier, and more resilient spaces where our future leaders can thrive.

The Teacher Education Council (TEC) recognized 13 distinguished Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) that embody the highest standards of excellence in teacher education. As exemplars of academic distinction, innovation, and institutional leadership, these institutions set the bar for excellence in teacher education and help define the direction of the teaching profession in the Philippines.
Their designation as Teacher Education Centers of Excellence signifies not only the attainment of the highest standards of quality, but also a mandate to lead, inspire, and contribute to the continuous advancement of teacher education in the Philippines.
Beyond recognition, these Centers of Excellence play a vital role in strengthening the broader teacher education landscape. As partners of the TEC, these TEIs carry forward their commitment to leveraging excellence in teacher education through leadership, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
Anchored on Sections 5 and 6 of Republic Act No. 11713, or the Excellence in Teacher Education Act of 2022, these institutions have demonstrated exceptional achievement across the core pillars of faculty qualification, student and graduate attributes, instruction, research, facilities, student development, teacher preparation, and community engagement.
The designation of these Centers of Excellence was approved by the members of the Council upon the recommendation of the TEC Secretariat during the First Council Meeting for 2026 last June 3 at the Professional Regulation Commission-NCR Office in Quezon City.
