"‎I come from a broken family. My parents separated when I was still a child, and both eventually built families of their own. I grew up with my mother, who worked as a saleslady. Her income was often barely enough to cover our daily needs, household bills, and the educational expenses of my stepbrothers and me.
‎
‎My father, who also has his own family, works at the Trading Post and has supported me by providing a weekly allowance whenever he could, although there were times when financial difficulties prevented him from doing so.
‎
‎During one of the most challenging periods of my studies, a friend introduced me to the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) and its financial assistance program. I decided to apply, hoping that it would help lessen the financial burden on my family. By God’s grace, I was fortunate to be accepted into the program.
‎
‎The TDP grant became a great blessing in my life. It provided financial assistance for my tuition fees, allowance, and other educational expenses. Through this support, I was able to continue my studies with less worry and greater determination.
‎
‎Today, I am proud to say that I have graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. This achievement would not have been possible without the guidance of God, the sacrifices of my parents, and the generous support of TDP.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Tulong Dunong Program, its administrators, sponsors, and everyone who works tirelessly to help students pursue their education. Your assistance has not only supported my studies but has also inspired me to strive for a better future and to become a person who can one day help others in return.

‎Thank you very much, TDP, for believing in students like me. I sincerely hope that your program will continue to grow and that more deserving students will be given the same opportunity to achieve their dreams and complete their education.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Following Circular Memorandum No. 131 issued by the Presidential Communications Office, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended today,, August 20, 2026. Classes will shift to modular distance learning until further notice. However, we are still awaiting an announcement from PIO Baguio to confirm the memo and provide any alternative arrangements.

Meanwhile, all faculty and staff are required to report to their respective offices and conduct their assigned alternative learning activities.

Faculty members are advised to utilize online platforms and other instructional methods to ensure that lessons can continue even in the absence of face-to-face classes. Teachers are likewise encouraged to provide clear instructions and reasonable timelines for students to complete and submit activities.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
1. Depending on the severity of the weather conditions tomorrow and update from PIO Baguio, these arrangements may be subject to change.
2. Furthermore, students with cancelled classes are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from visiting the school for classes, submission of activities, or other academic purposes.

𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘-𝗧𝗢-𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 (𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝟭𝟮) - BAGUIO CITY
Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong has suspended face-to-face classes from Preschool to Grade 12 in both public and private schools on Monday, August 17, 2026 due to the Yellow Rainfall Warning issued by PAGASA.

To ensure learning continuity, schools shall implement the appropriate alternative delivery modalities, including:
• Modular Distance Learning
• Online Distance Learning
• Blended Learning, where applicable

Public schools shall implement the appropriate HINAY Protocol in accordance with Department of Education (DepEd) guidelines to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of learning.

The public is advised to remain vigilant and monitor official weather and safety advisories. In case of emergencies, call 911.
