The Student Parliamentary Council, composed of dedicated student leaders and some Grade 10 students, conducted the SPC Batawa and Gardening Program as part of their initiative to promote environmental awareness and active participation in school activities. During this program, the student leaders worked together to plant vegetables such as pechay, ampalaya, squash, labanos, mustasa and tomatoes, helping create a small but meaningful garden that can benefit the school community.
Aside from planting, the student leaders also decorated and arranged the garden area to make it more organized, lively, and visually appealing. Through cooperation, creativity, and teamwork, they were able to transform the space into a greener and more welcoming environment within the school. The before-and-after effect of the garden was truly remarkable, as the planted vegetables began to grow and flourish, bringing life and freshness to the area and showing the wonderful results of their collective efforts.
With the guidance and assistance of the SPC Adviser, Ma'am Justine Eillene Bienes, the support of the Environmental Ministry Coordinator, Sir Urixon Babalque, and the huge help and effort of our school maintenance staff, Sir Angelo Dionisio, the project became even more successful. Their support, help and the collective efforts of the student leaders helped make the garden beautiful, well-maintained, and meaningful for the entire school community.
This activity not only encouraged students to care for the environment but also strengthened leadership, responsibility, and teamwork among the student leaders of the council. Through initiatives like this, the Student Parliamentary Council continues to inspire positive action and unity within the school community.

Meaningful day of reflection and renewal ✨
The students of Saint Louis School of Aurora Hill Inc. gathered at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, Maryheights, Bakakeng Sur for a heartfelt recollection with our speaker, Mr. Hector C. Gacita.
More than just a break from academics, recollection is a sacred pause — a time to reconnect with God, reflect on our actions, and rediscover our purpose as Louisian students. It is in these quiet moments that faith is strengthened, values are deepened, and hearts are renewed.
May this experience continue to guide our students toward becoming responsible, compassionate, and faith-driven individuals. 💙

✝️ Ash Wednesday | A Call to Prayer, Fasting, and Repentance ✝️
Today, we begin the sacred season of Lent with humility and reflection. As ashes are placed upon our foreheads, we are reminded of the solemn words:
“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)
Ash Wednesday invites us to pause, examine our hearts, and renew our commitment to God through prayer, sacrifice, and acts of charity. It is a time to seek forgiveness, strengthen our faith, and grow in love and compassion for others.
May this Lenten season guide us toward spiritual renewal and deeper devotion.
